Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
I have watched impassioned as Christian has been vilified by the Press based upon zero evidence. I cannot believe how the poor guy manages to sit alone in his cell listening to this constant barrage of Garbage from the Gutter Press together with the the Made-Up-Journalism of Jon Clark.
If Christian is released from his 7 year Prison Sentence, then he will have served his time. If the Gutter Press hound him upon his release then he will have the right to sue all those Press 'professionals' who concocted the lies, like Jon Clarke.
Here's hoping that Christian gets the right legal representation to defend his shattered reputation. After all the man is a Human being and we should treat him so.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
cb was never a suspect in the inga case, he has presented an alibi, that was seen as sufficient, and even somewhere after 2020 cb was made part of the madeleine case, there was looked again into and nothing was sticking to him again.
the raid on the old box factory was in a time in 2016, that in europe, many servers have been taken down, the police there made just use from a complaint about stench coming from the terrain, but that kind of problems would nowhere be followed up with about 100 feet on the ground, most police offers. but is is often used to get access in a legal way and search the lot to the full.
the only strange thing is, cb never made it into a case from the material, including nasty pictures of children.
it is never made known why sachsen anhalt never started a case about these findings.
when the portuguese arrested cb during that case on a playground, he had open conviction for drugs transporting/dealing, and what he had done to the young daughter of his lady friend.
he escaped before both sentences had been followed by jail time, the german 24/7 following procedure ended at the dutch border, cb took a international bus line to italie, and resurfaced a bit later when something was wrong with his papers, germany asked again for extradition and because of that they had for every historic case the permission of italia and/or portugal needed before they could proceed, even for the 2005 rape case as the last listing of 5 cases, they had to ask permission from italy, because these case had not been on the extradition warrant and cb was a free man for the last time at that even in italy.
germany has a rule against extradition of a german national by law, so they do it themselves, if and when they have found out how and where.
the follow up in the madeleine case in germany is most likely by direct question of the uk. the 2005 rape case is also a direct result of the hb testimonies done first in greece , later london to operation grange.
germany has simply asked portugal about cases with the same mo of the happenings on the video's hb supposed to have seen, the 2005 rape case is the result of that. it was a case that sticked to cb and could kept him in, so they could work the case of madeleine against him.
it is still a guess, but the sayings about portugal have others, the parents as most likely suspects in the madeleine case is very probably a relic from operation grange selling cb to another country.
cb is not a poor guy, he lived a life of crime, from crime to crime, made many victims, the girls he used for his habbit, the drugs he transported and sold, often in exchange for sex was not harmless, all the stealing and robbing also made victims.
so please do not have mersey with the guy, my objections are not meant for him, but against the abuse of juridical procedures in a way, it only can make true innocent victims in the future. this is a proven bad guy, most of his former convictions has even a confession from his own free will given.
and even if we lack the law to put guys like this one away and out of society forever, it still is important to get him behind bars for things he truly did. because we create only deception, when we present the wrong perpetrator to a victim, that can never be justice to any victim.
and i think the way this case got the attention it has is also quite harmful to victims of crimes, not only about possibly the wrong guy, but also the resurrection of bad memories, but also again a let down, as it stands at the moment, no cps who wants to fight for these victims, no court case in sight. these are the poor poor people we can put our mersey to.
do not walk in a fallacy , by stories that are in circulation about , the cps needs some cases, so he can ask to keep they bad guy in for live, not in jail, but the cps can use that to play ball, better circumstances for cb and a confession in the madeleine case. really, by that we can only conclude that 3 known convictions in cases of sa against 3 young female victims have not been enough to do that long time ago, sorry dear victims, your cases do not count. that is also very harmful for the by know much older ladies.
or think a bit about the irish holiday rep, who had to read in the media that a guy was convicted, in a case that has a same mo, who had the guts found to speak up in papers and media, who was thinking this was the guy who did all of that to her. her case is void at the moment. i do not know if cb is the perp who did it, i like to leave that verdict to the courts.
but it would be perfectly normal if this lady is not in an ideal mental state on the moment, she has by now her own family, with children, and it is hardly possible to leave them out of such a part of your emotions.
so people enough to use our mersey on. even if cb is innocent in all the 6 cases in discussion, it never made him into mister nice guy. never!
how innocent is the media, that german cps, by telling the waiting victims, justice is coming, we have him, he will not escape. and it looks more and more it was just false hope again, and again.

Why, if he wasn't a suspect, would the police investigate him, did all the known paedophiles in the area get the same treatment.

Post of the decade !
If there be any truth in any of the allegations made in the name of Christian Brueckner, that is enough for his condemnation within the confines of Germany. Why the need to portray the man as the world's 'Most Wanted' just because his name has been appended by some anonymous force to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
I think it's nicely summed-up in the oft repeated gutter press choice of words .... 'the German prosecutors are desperate to find evidence to connect Brueckner to the abduction and killing of Madelelline McCann' - or words to that effect.
And it's not only Jon Clarke of the Olive Press who propagates falsity, the whole press gambit are guilty of building a mammoth fantasy around the disappearance and almost certain death of a little defenseless three year old child.
Madeleine who?

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
of course they would be interested in cb, based on his earlier convictions, so he would always be very easy a person of interest, a term we nicked from a usa sheriff, officially it is not an existing title in law. but used for people you have no direct leads to make them investigation suspect. germany is a bit different, as soon as a complaint possible criminal act and under criminal law they could look in to it, they even have that as an obligation in their own guidelines.
overhere it would impossible to being so open and about a person under suspicion, you only become a legal suspect when the investigation leads to bringing charges. we would not be able to do that for other than a very short time, so we would just would make it into a legally sound suspect under investigation. you have to get a very sound story together why you would not do that. but a person who is already in jail would never fit that solution.
the problem of not having that legal title of suspect under investigation is you have little room to defend yourself. nice if you can afford a lawyer on your own, but many can not. and rights to one only go with that being officially made suspect.
but most police officers working a certain area would like to keep an eye out on the bad apples living there. so when you end up with having a legally sound reason to get a warrant to get access to a property, of course you always want to make use of the situation. i am even aware of multiple situations that have been made to get access. a dutch favorite way was using the possibility to organizing a traffic control, where your favorite person would become part of. a few years ago a judge did not like that at al, so it becomes harder.
so a pretty small complaint about a stench from a derelict old factory terrain, would normally not even made it onto a desk in serious crime, nice job for the juniors or even a environmental service of a government body.
but if such a person is on the list of less law abiding people, it is always nice to make a party in blue. often the locals around such a place are available with these handy suggestions, like if you are sure they has no meth lab there. or there are always a lot of foreigners around on all times.
well this raid was very successful, the stench from the complaints was served by 2 dead dogs, and under one of them a unknown person, at a unknown time had buried a grocery bag of the lidl, when one of the officers looked in the bag, he saw material consistent with usb drives and memory card as known from consumer camera's. it becomes a bit more murky after that, they have searched on a lot of other places. it resulted as publicized in a local paper of at least 6000 pictures, with child porn, animal sex and cb in obscure positions, to stay within the guidelines of this forum, think about some holes on the human male and a certain part of a tow bar part.
later on in the media the amount of pictures have been growing into 8000. the amount with cb on it are kept between a 100 and a lot more. it is unclear if the books das buch and das address.
officially this raid had nothing to do with a case against minors. but if they had found something, they had also that sound legal reason to warrant the search.
no police force would leave such an opportunity out if it is served to them. and you have to have sometimes a bit of flexibility in how you use your grey matter best. and you have to keep it within the law and not make it to much into a habit.
but there is no word about a case against cb in relation to these finds, i have some grapevines in that part of germany, but they had also no explanation for it. it is no problem to make use of the findings in other cases, and hcw is certainly doing that.
such collection is something common for these typ of people, to get access to most groups of like minded on the internet and the dark web side even more, you have to buy yourself in, not with money, but by sharing nasty pictures, and the better once in their understanding, want pictures with them in it, so they can use then to blackmail them into silence. a horrible job to handle that line in police work. most can hardly handle 2 years to the max. i never could do that. i get instand as mad as hell, and i do most of these guys out in my own area, and you can do nothing with that knowledge. and no, none of them looks like a bogeyman.
my stance about one strike is out forever has a history.
so yes, if a guy with this history makes a mistake, that could serve to legal access i certainly would not mind it all. and do you find something, it is not that hard to write it into a usable report.
so nobody is officially going to tell the public that the guy with a alibi had his property raided for an other reason, or just a fishing expedition.
cb is of course easy game, he made it very easy to hate him. he has a excellent team of lawyers, so his rights are pretty safe and secured.

Brueckner made it easy to hate him?
I'd never heard of him before the press got their gnashers into the name, since then his ugly mug is all I see splashed across the internet and daily tabloids. I'd sooner have left matters as they were before his debut.
I don't hate him anyway, I don't know him. I can't be accused of hating his crimes because I've never seen any evidence of the crimes he has committed - allegedly. I have however seen a lot of press and media hype to poison the mind of the reader, it's not even auto-suggestion .... it's propaganda.
As bevcoffee said up-page, when Christian Brueckner (if he even exists in anything but name) gets out of prison, he has enough material to sue the press from here to kingdom come.
They alone are responsible for persecuting a name they apparently know little or nothing about - it is they alone who have caused hatred to fill the airwaves, not the victim held behind bars.
Hell, they didn't even have the evidence to sentence Christian Brueckner for the alleged rape of a 70+ year old woman and even if the prisoner did rape an elderly woman, that hardly compares to the abduction, possible abuse and murder of a three year old child.
As for the alleged playground incidents that have only been circulated by hearsay - very hard to swallow!

More likely Herr Wolters made it easy for people to hate him, he has done a real hatchet job on CB.
Having said that, he must be acting within the law, it must be legal in Germany to call someone a kidnapper and murderer without a shred of evidence.

Maybe Christian Brueckner might have a good case to present before the European Court of Human Rights .... Christain Brueckner v. Germany.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
it is easy for the public to hate people with multiple offences against very young children. and he has then on his name, tried and convicted. it is not nice of germany to put his offences blocked out from view to the public. but they are there. that is not the offspring of a frivolous hcw or the media.
and i do mean with hate the strong negative emotion in the meaning of that wording itself, not the modern adaption on social media. hate is not about the person, but of the behavior. the part of us, where we simply have a choice in. it is also the only part of us, the law will look into.
hcw only used what was already on his name, and put just some extra buckets of dirt to it.
that 2005 rape case, is still baffling me, i have been able to read most documents from that case. still i can not understand how that first passed on to a cps, and by that cps in a court, in germany they have even a commission that decide that the case is sound enough to bring charges and the arrest, it even passed that, got through the court and got even a guilty verdict from it. it only can be a very strange form of miracle that happened. strange things can happen, but so much of it is baffling.
if i remember correctly even hcw used his full name in one of his many interviews around the globe. maybe one of the sandra f ones and the australian production. maybe he had the idea it does not count outside of the german borders. and if it was not his german boss who send him there and payed for the trip, he technically can even be right. ethically he can not be right, because he was each times sold to a public as a public servant. he would never be in these kind of media if he was not. it was his title that brought him out there, so at least you could respect your own title.
and no, in the german declaration of the task of the german cps, convicting is beholden to the courts of law. and explicit named as not within the task of a german cps. hcw is not a complete idiot, when in germany his use of language have a different expression, than when he speaks english, at least his version of it. he knows how to say things very well, and knows how the public will take on his words.
in most european countries with the typical continental law, with roman, french, a bit of spain and a dash of german law fundament in it, the media have very little legal boundaries. most are only guidelines, or agreements. only they have to keep up just the same rulings about defamation. the same basic rules of law are just the same for media.
we have already seen that dutch judges are not easy going with too much framing of a investigation suspect, or a court suspect by the public, media included. and there are already verdicts that keep the public punishment as part of the total punishment, so a lesser jail time. and time will tell if it becomes what we call it an arrest, to understand as a common rule of law in all later court procedures.
most defamation is done under uk law, most even under english law, last time i did read about that bit of law, there is a pretty short time to bring a defamation complaint before the courts, if remembered correctly only 2 months. so that would be easy to just stop being nasty in the media and there is nothing to bring on in a court. and they already have found a way out by just nicking one of the others as the source.
writers of books could have a bigger problem, if such a work of 'art' is still on sale of course, in 2026.
i always had the idea, these top notch lawyers would be in it because of the very high odds ending up before the european courts. that's where you can set your reputation in concrete. the good old german quality stuff, not the modern stuff with the same name a certain german cps is selling to the public.
and i do mean with hate the strong negative emotion in the meaning of that wording itself, not the modern adaption on social media. hate is not about the person, but of the behavior. the part of us, where we simply have a choice in. it is also the only part of us, the law will look into.

we have already seen that dutch judges are not easy going with too much framing of a investigation suspect, or a court suspect by the public, media included. and there are already verdicts that keep the public punishment as part of the total punishment, so a lesser jail time. and time will tell if it becomes what we call it an arrest, to understand as a common rule of law in all later court procedures.
most defamation is done under uk law, most even under english law, last time i did read about that bit of law, there is a pretty short time to bring a defamation complaint before the courts, if remembered correctly only 2 months. so that would be easy to just stop being nasty in the media and there is nothing to bring on in a court. and they already have found a way out by just nicking one of the others as the source.
writers of books could have a bigger problem, if such a work of 'art' is still on sale of course, in 2026.
i always had the idea, these top notch lawyers would be in it because of the very high odds ending up before the european courts. that's where you can set your reputation in concrete. the good old german quality stuff, not the modern stuff with the same name a certain german cps is selling to the public.

I can see no reason why there should be any difference between a normal Citizen doing this, and a Person in an Official capacity?

That's assuming Herr Wolters has said what is claimed and it's not pure media/press invention.
Strange how information is distorted as it makes it's way across the airwaves.
An example..

'Released' past tense, the event has already happened. Not might be or will be or could be but has been!
Another totally disreputable gossip mongering rag.

I think it's wrong for someone in his position to speculate before the world's press and media but I've no idea how German law works.
The video appears to be a plea for information from the public, UK police would work similarly in such circumstances.
In fairness to Wolters, I don't think it can be said he 'accused' Brueckner.
Whatever, it stinks. Unless Wolters has a trump card up his sleeve - which I doubt. The print would have rubbed out after all this time.
Given time all will be revealed - or not as the case may be.
The press and media are clearly behind most of the trash being propagated, rather than the German/Portuguese/British authorities.
The video raises the question - who provided the onscreen translation?
A lot can be lost and/or misinterpreted between languages.

Thanks for posting the video Verdi, I forgot to do it the other way.
I see what you mean about accused of and suspected of.
The "concrete" evidence ithey profess to have is not firm enough to accuse him so he remains a suspect.

Quite so!
Something I find a bit worrying, such video clips have been used across the spectrum like Netflix and Discovery+ documentaries, in addition to press and media coverage.
Often subject matter is taken totally out of context when isolated quotes are used. Even more curious in Wolters' case, sometimes he appears to speak pigeon Ingleesh.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Alas, GB News has lost direction, it's gone the way of all press and media - ticking all the right boxes to meet with general approval. Nowadays it's no better than ITV/BBC news coverage for political correctness, with the morning and afternoon boy/girl sofa image, the requisite quota of female presenters and gender dysfunctionals.
Nothing left in it's favour apart from the likes of Dan Wootton to add spice to an otherwise lukewarm chicken korma.
Pity.
Madeleine McCann: Police planning '24/7 surveillance' of suspect if he is released before investigation ends
By Georgina Cutler
Published: 19/06/2023 - 09:14
Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann are planning to place suspect Christian B under strict 24/7 surveillance in a bid to snare him.
German officers are said to be determined to prove that the convicted sex offender was the one who kidnapped and possibly killed Maddie.
Christian B may be released from prison before the end of the investigation into him - which police have admitted could stretch to 2026.
Sources close to the investigation claim that the release of the convicted rapist might actually provide a boost in the probe.
“It is very possible [Christian B] will be released while the investigation into Maddie's whereabouts is still continuing," the source told The Sun.
"If that happens he will be watched around the clock.
“Detectives will monitor him 24/7 to see where he goes and who he talks to."
Officers hope Christian B may hand over clues while being released, describing him as a "weirdo, a drifter, a creature of habit".
German police are confident that Christian B - who was living as a vagrant around Praia da Luz at the time - took Maddie when she was three-years-old in 2007.
"[Christian B] is known to be a weirdo and a drifter, but he’s also a creature of habit so detectives fully expect him to migrate back towards the places and people he was seeing at the time Maddie vanished," the police source said.
“This could well throw up new clues.
"A lot of those involved in the search think [Christian B] being out could actually help shine a new light on areas that have been overlooked or even missed.”
The sex offender is serving a seven-year sentence for the 2005 rape of a pensioner in the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz.
Lead prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters previously said: "The investigation into the Maddie case will take as long as is necessary. If necessary, beyond a possible release of the accused."
And confirming his team is yet to speak to Kate and Gerry, he added: "There is no contact with the McCann family."
In June 2020, the German prosecutor declared they had "strong" evidence against Christian B.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
Wait a minute, did I read that correctly, "Lead prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters previously said and confirming his team is yet to speak to Kate and Gerry, he added: "There is no contact with the McCann family.""?
Weren't Kate and Jerry McCann the previous Prime Suspects? They've not been spoken to yet? Oh... maybe they too are already under '24/7 surveillance'
So Christian B is still set to be released after spending 7 years in Prison. I imagine he'll be glad to put his feet up and while away the hours reading posts on "The Complete Mystery of Madeleine McCann".
If he engages himself in studying the Gutter Press releases since 2020, he'll be able to get a pretty good picture of his public image and no doubt be shocked by the revelations of his character assassination by the likes of the Gutter Press and Jon Clarke of the Olive Press. He could even open up the opportunity to take legal action against the Lynch Mob.
Oh! wait a minute, if he reads these Posts, he will be aware that the German Police are planning '24/7 surveillance' of Christian B.
Doesn't that make the whole operation of covert surveillance by the German Police a bit pointless? I guess the German Police could at least be reasonable and let Christian B know where they'll be hiding 24/7, so as to give him some well deserved respite?
There was a time when, once a conviction had been served, a man was allowed to get on with his life.

Re: Christian Brueckner: To be or not to be
I was thinking the self same thing.
Prosecution: Hey mate we're releasing you early, no need for explanation just a whim.
Christian Brueckner: But why, am I now an innocent free man with no fear of further persecution.
Prosecution: Well yes and no. You are a free man but we will be monitoring your every move from here on in.
Christian Brueckner: Does that mean I can frequent my old haunts and continue my life of crime without restraint?
Prosecution: Of course you can, in fact we encourage you to continue where you left off.
Christian Brueckner: Crikey!
Prosecution: Don't forget to clear your locker before you leave.
Christian Brueckner: No problem and thanks for your hospitality over the years.
Prosecution: You're welcome - before you go we need to fix this tracker to you ankle just to be sure.
Christian Brueckner: Left or right or both.
Prosecution: Ha ha ha! What's your mobile number, in case we need to trace your pings?
Christian Brueckner: 999
Prosecution: Cheers and have a nice life, we'll be seeing you anon.
Christian Brueckner: I will ....

Madeleine McCann's parents 'sent 2 letters by German police Brits failed to pass on'
German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters has said two letters have been posted to the McCanns via Scotland Yard - though Maddie's parents claim they have not received any such correspondence
ByRyan MerrifieldNews Reporter

British police may have failed to pass on two letters to Kate and Gerry McCann from German prosecutors updating them about daughter Madeleine's disappearance, it has been claimed.
German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said the first letter was to forewarn the family about the German authorities publicly announcing on June 3 that this is a murder inquiry and that Madeleine "is dead".
Mr Wolters added they wrote to the family at a later date too, with The Sun suggesting this letter was posted last week.
The prosecutor has told Italian daily la Repubblica that while he didn't write either letter, "the Federal Police in conjunction with ourselves and the British got in touch with the family".
But the British couple said on Wednesday they had not received any letter from Germany stating their daughter is dead.
It comes after criticism of the way Gerry and Kate McCann have been treated by that country's authorities investigating convicted rapist Christian Brueckner, 43.
Brueckner, jailed in the German city of Kiel, is the prime suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine from Praia da Luz in Portugal in 2007 when she was three.
In a statement released earlier this week, Kate and Gerry said: "The widely reported news that we have a received a letter from the German authorities that states there is evidence or proof that Madeleine is dead is FALSE.
It comes as reports suggest police in Germany and Portugal have reportedly clashed over sharing DNA evidence that could lead to a breakthrough.
German investigators want to retest a mystery saliva sample found in the holiday apartment the British toddler vanished from.
The Portuguese police are reportedly unwilling to budge, with a source close to the Policia Judiciaria labelling re-testing "a total waste of time".
The evidence was found on the youngster’s bed inside apartment 5A at the Ocean Club by forensic teams after she went missing in 2007.
Scientists in the Portuguese city of Coimbra were unable to extract a full DNA profile from the sample and its origins remain a mystery.
Now German authorities want to carry out their own test on the “potentially vital evidence” in the hope a profile can be found.
If successful, forensic experts would then try to match it with Brueckner.
