From pop prince to paedophile, there can't have been many more spectacular falls from grace than Gary Glitter's.

As a teenager I rather enjoyed his over-the-top stage shows, especially his performance circa 1972 at the Maltings in Ely.

And I feel slightly uncomfortable at the relentless pursuit of him now by some of my colleagues.

So, it's good to see his rehabilitation in the music world has begun with the inclusion of his ground-breaking hit Rock & Roll - Part 11 (The Hey Song) in a new songbook.

It's titled "Guitar for Kids".

Clearly, publishers the Hal Leonard Corporation don't do irony.

Or maybe they do.

What else can we expect from Brunt? He signed that abortion of a petition and even pushed the "abduction" theory on it!

Brunt: ''And I feel slightly uncomfortable at the relentless pursuit of him now by some of my colleagues.''

What would he prefer his colleagues to do with a convicted paedophile? Take Glitter out to tea? Twitter and report about Glitter in such a way that would make a mockery of a justice system, in the same way he does?

Brunt may very well enjoy engaging with suspects of crimes, but this is not everybody's cup of tea.

One would suggest that Brunt's sell-by date has long passed.

Its a disgraceful comment for him to make.
he needs to think about the children who were abused and the children who are yet to be abused no doubt if Glitter is walking around a free man. A paedophile does not stop abusing children. Perhaps Brunt doesnt take child abuse seriously.

Perhaps the journalistic talents of Mr Brunt missed the detail that the huge Hal Music corporation is based in Milwaukee USA and probably does not follow 'nonce news' with his avid eye.

Rehabilitation? They probably are completely unaware of dear Garrys goings on down at Taunton PC world, his music career was over to all intents decades ago, probably unknown then to the executives at Hal who i doubt were born then. BBC Radio 2 does give him the occassional mention in the ancient pick of the pops run down every now and again but i have yet to hear a track played.

Still good to see British jounalism has its finger on the pulse, will Garry Glitter be joining Michael Barrymore at the ITN panto this year as part of this wonderful rehabilitation?

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
