Since theatres are now doomed, there's at least an early pantomime season.

Madeleine McCann's life and death falls into this category. Netflix is doing a great job of telling obvious lies.

Well quite.

One is given a knighthood and both are promoted to their level of incompetence.

I think Lame Dick would be more of an appropriate name  I see she's being given a "bit of a talking to" by our useless Home Secretary and has promised to "up her game" or words to that effect.  So if she wasn't at the top of her game what the bl**dy hell has she been doing.  Isn't someone with her important position in law and order supposed to be at the "top of their game" the whole time?

And to top it all off that other useless idiot Khan has now said there will be a huge cut back in London police funding after being given an extra £234m for policing last year.  Seeing he is now only a caretaker Mayor as there were no elections for him to be reinstated and he has said he has "mental problems" through being in lockdown for so long (poor lamb, my heart bleeds for him), he seems a sandwich short of a picnic to be doing such an important job in a city like London, one of the most famous capitals in the world. aaagh

He's been out of his depth since he got the job and it's about time he was booted out.

PC David Whyte is being treated in hospital for serious injuries

Constable David Whyte has been named as the police officer seriously injured in a stabbing attack at a Glasgow hotel.

The 42-year-old is being treated in hospital and his condition has been described as "critical but stable".

He was one of six people injured in the attack at the hotel, which is currently housing asylum seekers. The suspect was shot dead by police.

Chief Constable Iain Livingstone said he offered his "personal support to all those affected" by the incident.

In a statement published on Police Scotland's Twitter account, Mr Livingstone also paid tribute to the officers who dealt with the "terrible incident" that "shocked the whole country".

"Officers have once again run into danger to protect their fellow citizens," he added.

"Their professionalism as police officers was outstanding. I pay tribute to their bravery, selflessness and commitment to protect the public."

Nobody, but nobody should be ruined, threatened, injured or killed in the line of duty. It is totally unacceptable.

I salute you sir salute and all your genuine fellow police officers who risk their lives every day trying to protect the rest of us..

May you fully recover and return to your loving family - sooner rather than later.

Peace!

How long will it be before the Army are on our streets?

The Lefties really want it and the Tory government does photo hoots of Boris trying out an App to order a pint of beer.

Does anyone here remember the American TV programme called 'Soap'?

Imagine being a Police Officer under the shameful leadership being witnessed.

Oh, "Soap", that's a memory from the past, what a hilarious and fantastic show that was.

I remember the Butler, whenever the door bell rang, "Do you want me to get that?"

And the father of the family, I forget who he was now but he was beamed up by Aliens.  That was so, so funny,

laugh

I used to watch it with my Mum and Dad, but they never "got it", I kept telling them that it wasn't supposed to be real life and taken seriously, it was just stupid humour, for the brain dead like me.

Apply that programme to the life of a three year old tot who has no voice other than the shameless people willing to kowtow to look after their own needs, their own mortgage, their own careers.

A three year old's life is worth nothing to these people but they will all tell you about the sanctity of human life and their own families whilst choosing to gain media exposure.

Jon Clarke is a good example. Lied through his teeth.

This is the reality of the activities and of Policing these "Travellers".  They have tame lawyers on call 24 hours a day in case anyone tries to object to anything they are doing.  I managed to evict one lot from a plot close to the railway station, but it had to be done extremely quickly and the site secured, so that they did not have time to 'take legal advice'
Detectives quickly tracked down the car which dragged Pc Harper to his death in Berkshire to the Four Houses Corner travellers' site.       But the investigation was hampered by family and friends of the occupants, who were all said to have close ties to the site.  Thames Valley Police Detective Superintendent Stuart Blaik said: "A decision was taken very early on to arrest all the males on the site that night.
"While we were frustrated by family and friends, we have been able to work through that and establish exactly what happened and who was involved."
Jonathan Laidlaw QC previously told jurors the defendants had been prepared to use force "if met with resistance".
The trio had a large axe, three crowbars and a hammer and were "plainly determined to steal the quad bike" from a home near Stanford Dingley, Mr Laidlaw said.
It was clear they were "intending, if met with resistance, that serious harm would be caused to commit the offence of theft or to secure their escape", the court heard.

HENRY LONG (driver)
Fast and Furious loving driver: Illiterate hell-raiser, 19, with string of juvenile offences for violence and drunken disorder
Unable to read or write, Henry Long, 19, was taken out of school by his father after he got into trouble with teachers.
Aged 12 he followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather and began thieving, he told the jury
Specialising in stealing quad-bikes and machinery, Long carried with him tools for breaking into sheds, and snapping metal chains and padlocks.
The career thief first spotted the quad-bike and drove the getaway car which dragged PC Andrew Harper to his death. He had a reputation among travellers as a good driver able to steer vehicles at break-neck speeds.
With the help of Albert Bowers and Jessie Cole, both 18, he disguised his Seat Toledo by disabling the rear lights, covering the number plates with tape and removing any logos. Long was the ringleader, telling Bowers and Cole to 'shut up' and 'turn the music up' as he drove.
ALBERT BOWERS (passenger)
Accomplice with passion for blood-sport: Racist thug, 18, who posed with dead hares on Facebook and fell asleep during trial
His attention span lasted only 40 minutes and at one stage he fell asleep in the trial when the prosecution were show footage of the officer being dragged to his death.
In evidence he said he could not read or write and had to be supported by an intermediary. He left school in year six and occasionally worked as a landscape gardener while supporting himself by stealing.
JESSIE COLE (passenger)
Tree-cutter, 18, who left school only able to spell his own name needed help from intermediary while he gave evidence at trial
He claimed he went out thieving with them and not on his own because he was scared.Jessie Cole, 18, claimed he had only recently met Bowers and Long.
Like the other two he cannot read or write and left school aged 14. He attended a college for boys with learning difficulties and by the time he dropped out he could just spell his name.

From the shallow end of the gene pool.
They are also acknowledged products of generations of inbreeding within their own "community", where first or second cousin marriages are normal.
[As they are in another closed society which also produces more than its fair share of intellectually underprivileged children]

The verdict was disgraceful, but that's what I expect these days. These pieces of filth murdered P.C. Harper. Surely their behaviour during the trial amounted to contempt of court?

Two of PC Andrew Harper's killers launch appeal against their manslaughter convictions and their 13-year jail terms
Homage to the UK Police Force - Page 3 32131888-0-image-m-12_1597840264445
Albert Bowers and Jessie Cole, both 18, have lodged applications with the Court of Appeal to challenge their convictions and their 13-year sentences for the manslaughter of PC Harper (pictured).

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8643265/Two-PC-Andrew-Harpers-killers-launch-appeal-against-manslaughter-convictions.html

If their appeal is successful, which it probably will be, then this country is well and truly ******.

I agree with his widow's endeavours to bring about 'Harper's Law' that the killers of any front line 999 workers should get life, no parole.

And of course we know they have not lodged any such appeal.
They are illiterate and seriously intellectually deficient probably due to generations of inbreeding.
They are either idiots or morons in the old terminology.

So some bright solicitor is dipping into the Criminal Aid fund, which WE pay for, and having a go.
even though their close families will own top spec. Range Rovers and high spec mobile homes, full of 'collectibles' and probably own homes in Southern Ireland, no attempt will be made to ascertain their wealth and eligibility for Legal Aid.

I can't believe it's actually been a whole year since he was killed and I posted the news on the first page of this thread.

That has been an amazingly super-quick passing of time. bigshock

Except his widow won't think that.
