It is within the last days, so must have been a newspaper article as cannot bring myself to watch the interview. She says she is very busy with family and working part time as a counsellor.
I have checked the surgery she worked at before and she isn't named there, so maybe she is doing it privately.
Certainly said counsellor though.

I'm afraid Kate McCann would be the last person I would want to see as a counselor !

The woman who allegedly left her 3 children alone while wining and dining with friends .

The woman who allegedly smashed beds .

The woman who called police " f.....g tosser " and wished misery and fear on the man actually Searching for her daughter .

The woman who wrote about her daughters genitals and not being able to make love to her husband . In the book allegedly about Madeleine , and for her children to read .

I know counseling advises you to talk and face your issues , but when the counselor has more issues than you it's not going to work is it ?

There are many types of counsellors some well trained and ethical and some quite frankly self appointed loonys advocating some weird and whacky services.

Good counsellors will be registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psycotherapy and will undergo continuous proffessional development training.

It could be she is acting as a counsellor for the Missing People charity as a number of charities do use those with lived experience in this way to support others often as volunteers, in these cases the charity may pay for the training

The link I posted is dated June 2011. I looked up the training period for a psychologist and it is 5-6 years which would be about right if Mrs has taken a job as a trauma councellor.
