The 'tin hat brigade' might be correct Empty The 'tin hat brigade' might be correct

Post by kangdang 24.08.10 0:16

For many months myself and a number others that are involved one or the other with TMF have believed that phones and personal emails etc have been being monitored. After encountering an escalation of problems recently and receiving numerous critical flags, I decided to contact my security provider. To cut a long story short, a very kind and competent gentleman has today confirmed to me that my encryption had been decrypted. He identified 4 other computers that had infiltrated my home network, it seems they had remotely monitored my internet movement, retrieved emails, passwords and personal data etc. Thankfully he has now corrected this problem and my system is 110% secure. His investigation is ongoing.

I wonder if these spies/hacks are also monitoring the people who let Maddie disappear?

Surely that crime is worse than chatting about it in a forum?

Apparently not. The 'tin hat brigade' might be correct 181230

As with most crimes the cui bono adage applies.
In other words, who benefits?
Who benefits from monitoring the online movements of MF members and associates and their shared correspondences?
The fact that there are four computers involved suggests that it is a tad more organised than some lone nutter in a bedsit with too much time on his hands.
Who would be most likely to target the Foundation?
Whose interests would this activity best serve?

It is known with certainty that at least two pro-mccanns are IT specialists, they have both been employed by Goldman Sachs to work in such a capacity.

It would quite possibly take only one persons pc to be hacked to obtain the ID's of numerous others.

Very worrying. Let's hope he gets to the bottom of it fast. Incidentally what is the law on hacking into other people's computers, and what would the penalty be.

Ordinarily it would be a criminal record but if your name is McCann or a derivative of it then you can expect to be protected and even receive compensation.

In fact if anyone wants to break the law and get away with it you should just show your nipple to a police officer and say you're Gerry McCann's niece/nephew. That should do it.

Oh if the "I'm being persecuted for my looks" flashed her silicone nipple.......maybe the police will be obliged to let their cluster of offenders (4, I believe) off...that is, before the police passed out!

@ Rainbow

Thank you for this reminder, but please note that a lot of people on the list of emails are not actual members, but simply supporters of TMF who wish to help TMF gain ground in asking for a thorough investigation by the Portuguese and British police.

You are doing yourself a complete injustice here, because one cannot recall a time when you have ever been at a loss regarding precise details.

@ kangdang

One cannot say how disappointed one is to read your post above.

Having read so many strange and threatening posts lately, one was beginning to believe there must be a secret underground agency running a racket with somebody such as Halligen at the helm. One was seriously expecting all of this to be brimful with spies and bent police officers.

One will not find this at all intriguing if it is found that posters have been under threat because of a few florists or pizza deliverymen.

Or is this just another bored taxi-driver with a penchant for hacking and too much time on his hands?

That's my cui bono theory up the spout then. The 'tin hat brigade' might be correct 110921

He must be seriously short of customers if he can spend time with four computers tracking people's every move.
Maybe he's not a very good cabbie -- he probably drives everyone up the wall.

Oh you misunderstand, Muratfan does not have the technical capabilities to hack computers. There are a few chaps in Essex that do though.

Have to say I never had Muratfan down as an evil mastermind, just a foul-mouthed, intellectually-challenged fantasist.
The 'other lot' though, a much more likely kettle of fish with their laughable attempts at faux impartiality and their penchant for using codes, metaphors and techno-speak. (In my day, a silo was something one saw on a farm.)
Has all been quiet at their place of late with nowt but a few surreal posts which mean nothing to the world outside.
A candidate for Pseuds Corner if ever there was one.
