Nobel Prize

Bob Dylan's Nobel silence 'impolite and arrogant'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37740379

Good for Bob Dylan.

He never asked for it.

Who the hell are the Nobel people anyway?

I never voted for them.

Are they the people who gave Obama the Nobel Peace Prize when he was ordering drone attacks on women and children in villages in Pakistan?

It's like the Queen handing out honours....

It makes the Queen seem important.

I thought they were famous as gunpowder manufacturers who could make very powerful bombs to kill large numbers of people at one go

I think it was dynamite.

Still... it killed a lot of people.

The same people who gave Barack 'race relations' Obama the 'Nobel Peace Prize'.

I'd love to call it irony but..

So the"Noble Prize"presenters create publicity around their Prize, then have a big night out probably filmed by some News Channel, then when their Prize is not given the"Accolade"they think it deserved create a scene of disdain of how they have been treated by the Prize winner!
Smacks of a load of"wannabe's"self adulation moment to be seen on Cameras by a vast Audience to further publicity and Promotional events.
Bob Dylan was hounded out of a live performance because he had altered his approach of reproducing his musical Lyrics to previous performances,do we live in a "World"where the,Owner of the songs or Lyrics, cannot choose how they wish to perform to the"Audience",to be like performing Seals,Fish, Fish,Clap,Clap? bignono

I think the answer to that is a resounding YES!

Can't confirm with any accreditation but rumour has it, it all started one hot summers day at Eastbourne's notorious 'Butlins Knobely Knee Contest'.

Wonder if Bob Dyland would object to the McCanns using 'Like a Rolling Stone' as a signature tune?
