Once again we see the"Establishment"close ranks, when Police Officer Maxine De Brunner was being investigated for abuse of Power, trying to have Police resources used on open days for her son's private school?
Mrs De Brunner has been allowed to resign from her position with full pension rights before the investigation process had determined on her actions over the £10,000 thought to have been allocated for"Metropolitan Police Open Days" within her son's private school Education?
The Police Officer mentioned above turns out only to have been the Assistant Commander of the Metropolitan Police Service, you know the one that has spent over Six Years on Operation Grange cost over£16 Million Pounds?

It also transpires, that Mrs De Brunner was in charge of the"Official Cuts"of over £500 Million pounds to the Metropolitan Police Service, but not for"Open Days" it seems?

Some interesting snips re MdB, especially the collection within the last link.

Not part of the Chipping Norton set by any chance?

WHAT'S ALL THIS THEN? Top cop Maxine De Brunner allowed to resign while still under investigation for sending officers on £10K trip to son’s school

The Deputy Assistant Commissioner arranged for firearms officers, riot vans and mounted cops to appear at June event

BY MIKE SULLIVAN, CRIME EDITOR 15th August 2016, 3:02 am

A TOP cop has been allowed to resign while being investigated for arranging to send officers to entertain kids at her son’s private school.
Met Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Maxine De Brunner, the force’s third highest-ranking female officer, was accused of misconduct.

The 50-year-old was responsible for finding savings but is said to have given her staff a list of personnel and equipment she wanted to visit the school, at an estimated cost of £10,000.
They included firearms officers, an armed response vehicle, riot vans, mounted cops and dogs.
The June event got cancelled when it was ruled inappropriate, especially as the Surrey school is outside the Met area.

But £143,000-a-year Ms De Brunner, a close aide of Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, had organised another similar day in 2014 and arranged for the Olympic torch to visit in 2012.

New regulations stop officers retiring while facing allegations that could lead to dismissal or prosecution.
But Sir Bernard let her go as any penalties would not have been so severe.

Under fierce cross examination in the witness box, however, Miss de Brunner was forced to admit she was unaware that Mr Burrell's book Entertaining with Style had earned him substantial amounts of money, nor that he was able to earn £1,000 fees for making speeches.

She admitted failing to alert Charles and William that she had given them wrong information, claiming she had not seen Prince Charles since that meeting, or written or telephoned his solicitor.

The judge, Mrs Justice Rafferty, intervened to ask: ' Is it right that you allowed the two Princes to remain under that misconception?'

Miss de Brunner replied: 'Yes.' Her answer proved a damning blow against the prosecution.

And the manner in which police raided the Burrell home in January last year was attacked by the defence. During the 12-hour search more than 400 items were taken away but remarkably, the police did not film or photograph the scene they found.

Lord Carlile ridiculed their efforts to search the Burrell loft without a lamp, or even a torch, until two were borrowed from the local force.

Miss de Brunner, in charge of the dawn raid, never so much as popped her head into the loft - where much of the haul was found - because she was afraid of heights.

The Metropolitan Police was criticised today for spending £660 on an officer’s ceremonial head-dress while having to make £500 million of cuts.
Opponents have accused the force of “wasteful spending” after it emerged it spent the money on deputy assistant commissioner Maxine de Brunner’s Napoleon-style hat with a black and white feathered plume.

A respected police officer has won a sex discrimination case against the Metropolitan Police after he was "unlawfully punished" by a female officer following an incident involving a towel.
Chief Inspector Adrian Denby, who won nine commendations and was seconded to Afghanistan to set up the police force, was discriminated against on five separate occasions, an employment tribunal has ruled.
It followed a crackdown on the perceived macho culture in the Met, which saw Deputy Assistant Commissioner Maxine De Brunner given the role of driving out discrimination in the service.
The tribunal heard when she made a surprise visit to Paddington Green police station she witnessed a male officer walking from the shower across the office in just a towel. The Times reported that this was her "pet hate".
It was alleged she was not happy about how Mr Denby, who was in charge of the Territorial Support Group unit at the station, handled the incident after he is said to have told her the men had to walk from the showers to their lockers. He is said to have been discriminated against as a result.
Following the incident Mr Denby was placed under investigation and other claims were then made against him, including cheating his hours and operating an off licence in the police station. He also had his powers restricted.

Sir Bernard Hogan Howe backtracking on his,"Not allowed to resign policy" then for the fragrant Maxine De Brunner?
It really does beggar belief of the amount of alleged corruption associated to the Metropolitan Police Service, which alarmingly, seems to be like the evidence of MP's and Lords,Elusive to their gaze? bignono
