***NEW***16 Jun 2016 >>> Cliff Richard WON'T BE CHARGED (was: Cliff Richard)

Post by Cakefan64 on 14.05.16 14:56

Regarding Sir Cliff, I see that a file of evidence has now been sent to the CPS. The whole business is certainly being dragged out. I've read quite a lot of the various rumours online, but is there any truth in them and will it lead anywhere? He is such a major establishment figure, I will be personally very surprised if we ever see him in the dock. I'm interested to hear other peoples' thoughts on this.

Sir Jimmy, Sir Cyril, Sir Ted, Sir Peter, Sir Cliff...the Honours List reads more like the sex offender's register.

Apparently one of the allegations against Sir Cliff is that he molested a boy after roller-skating into a shop! Just read this in the Mail online.

Yes it does, but what I thought was even crazier was the Top of the Pops incident with Saville putting his hand up a young girl's skirt, captured on film and NOTHING was done about it.

I don't know what he did with his hand.

He "goosed" her bottom I think.

But as anyone who lived through the 70s knows... it was a Benny Hill, Carry-On, Morecambe and Wise thing... there was always loads of stuff like that on the telly... people thought it was funny.

And that's why nothing was done about it.

Now it's become a mountain out of a molehill (this incident, other incidents should be taken on merit).

I file the TOTP "incident" under "meh".

Did Cliff Richard get a tip off some years ago by a reliable informant to rescind his knighthood and suddenly vacated the UK to become a resident in Bermuda, which has an history with regard to child abuse dating back to Pirate days thought to have been from UK ships they usurped into their ownership of ill gotten gains?
Cliff has a very close relationship with Antony Lynton and Mrs Blair, perhaps Mrs Blair could represent him in any Criminal charges that may be brought against Cliff under his "Human Rights" as Cherie had tagged along with Tony on his shirt tales earning a few quid along the way, fighting unjust abuses on Human Rights issues, being funded by the UK tax payer on Official Government business with her husband Tony Blair?
As Cliff had allowed Mr&Mrs Blair to have free holidays in his holiday homes in Tuscany on many occasions,"We'er All Going On a Summer Holiday" time to repay those acts of kindness, Cherie, Tony!?

I wonder if the 'amount' of evidence needed changes, depending on the person to whom the allegations are directed at....?

Cliff Richard,no evidence to charge

Post by willowthewisp on 16.06.16 13:12

And it also means not guilty in the eyes of the Law.  I wonder how Sir Bernard Hogan Howe will explain how the BBC got to film"Cliff's residence being searched and did BBC informants receive a tip off of the event"?
One rule for the plebs and another for the Elite?

'Victim to appeal to CPS' has dropped off the radio news and there is nothing that I can find on-line anywhere.

Strange.

Injunction?

Sorry, I missed this from the BBC report:

‘Commenting on the claims against Sir Cliff, our correspondent said this "isn't necessarily the end of the matter", as the CPS maintains it must "keep every case under review" and every complainant has the right to a review of a decision not to bring charges - as one has said he will.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36546038

……………………………………………..

Also from the Mirror:

‘It said nine men had made allegations but five of the cases did not reach the threshold necessary for them to be considered by the CPS.
Prosecutors had considered allegations from four that the star assaulted them between 1958 and 1983.’

I think these two tweets illustrate a lot of the problems the police & CPS have, but the police must have had something they thought was pretty conclusive as evidence to give it to the CPS in the first place, especially if they kicked five of the cases into touch themselves:

‪@Julian5News@ciabaudo evidence in historical cases is extremely hard to obtain. Think back to the day of your 1st sexual experience. Now

‪@Julian5News@ciabaudo can you prove it happened if the other person were to deny it?

I find it difficult to understand why the sheer number of allegations doesn't seem to be taken account of. I had no idea there were this many allegations.

Hi Worriedmum,Cliff Richard(Harry Webb) is part of the "Knights Malta" so No charges are to be brought against a "Fellow Bother" without Fear or Favour, as Jim Royle would say,My *rse, arise Sir Cliff,I'm going to Barbados?

Sir Cliff Richard went missing on Missing People's list of patrons. Not once but twice. He's still missing after being not charged with anything. Will he be reinstated? Will Missing People issue a reason for dropping him? Will Missing People issue a statement that Sir Cliff Richard asked to be dropped from their patron list?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3646240/Sir-Cliff-Richard-s-accuser-one-Britain-s-worst-serial-rapists.html#ixzz4BpcyKlSn:

1. Cliff Richard had several accusers

2. One of them is a serial rapist who is currently serving several life sentences in prison and can't be named because he claimed to be a victim, having been abused by Cliff at Elm House, he says, in the 1980s.

-------

I somehow doubt that the case against Cliff is as 'closed' as we are led to believe

I remember seeing Cliff Richard explaining why he became a devout Christian, on Saturday morning TV about 35 years ago. He implied that when he was a very young performer his behaviour had left him questioning his morals. At the time I thought this was very strange. It stuck in my head all these years. Wish I could remember which tv show it was.
