"Frankly, you deserve to go to prison, but I can't bring myself to send you to prison, entirely because I think prison would be an appalling experience for you," Judge Lesley Newton was quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.
Laura Voyce, who is biologically a man but legally a woman and used to be called Luke, was found guilty on 14 counts of downloading indecent images of children, some of which were graded as the second most serious level of abuse.
Voyce, of Liverpool, was sentenced by the judge at Manchester Crown Court to a nine-month jail term suspended for a year but will not be put behind bars unless she reoffends.
If she had been given a full jail term, she would have had to serve it in a men's prison.
"I do not see how you could be kept safe in a prison environment with the best will in the world on the part of those who run such establishments," Judge Newton was quoted as saying.
Voyce, who maintains her innocence, was ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work and to sign the sex offenders' register for five years, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

Absolutely pathetic - 100 hours community service which in itself is a fiddle by the people running it from what I have been told - (Some supervisors take them out for a drive for the day then then drop them off and sign their sheet to say they have completed X number of hours) Sign the sex offenders register and when you are caught red-handed hounding a minor in the middle of the night at their bedroom window you are told by the Police that you are only "trespassing"

Why would a trans-sexual be at any more risk than anyone else or did they just not know where to send them and took the cowards way out???

a transexual should not have been treated any differently and should have been sent to jail for this offence, if safety cant be guaranteed that is the responsibility of the transexual imo

I cant believe that this judge has said she wont give a prison sentence because it would be an appalling experience - so what - maybe having an appalling experience would make sure that she never ever did it again. She has to take the consequences of her actions and if that means going to jail and having a tough time so be it. She shouldnt have done what she did. It is common knowledge that paedophiles are often judged by paedophile judges who give them a slap on the wrist - not that I am saying that this judge is a paedophile of course - but it would be interesting to know whether this judge has dealt with any other paedophile cases and what sentences have been given. The question should also be asked is this judge actually fit to sit in judgement when the judge appears to feel more sorry for the criminals than the victims!

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
