Privatization beneficial to the tax payer,MPS quote?

Post by willowthewisp on 20.08.15 11:40

The MPS when announcing"privatization of public ownership" the cost savings ought to benefit the tax payer in Lower charges?
The public meet the costs of wages and pensions, maintenance of the House of Parliament and the Lords, seeing that dodgy Dave wishes to assist up to fifty more of his cronies into the Lords to out vote the "Independents" who sit in that Chamber, so as to assist his Governments policies through to pass new Laws within the UK Parliament?
The House of Commons and Lords Chambers has at present 1500 attendees, with subsidized food and Bars(eateries) for their daily sittings?
Dodgy Dave and the official new 50 odd Lords and Ladies is thought to add at least One and half million pounds per annum to the present tax payers bill, is this economic sense in today's climate?
Should the MP'S and the Lords be "Privatized" to save us tax payers money and surely we would insist on their expenses being properly scrutinised and accountable to the Payees?

Privatization is a race to the bottom in terms of employee wages and a race to the top in terms of shareholder rewards.

We have business leaders now saying that the minimum wage is a barrier to employment (they'll never have to try and live on it).

Whatever happened to fairness?

What we want is a fair distribution of wealth - a fair days pay for a fair days work - both ends of the scale.

Erm, NO! I'm horrified, have you a link to this story please, it's passed me by, I've been concentrating on the Labour leader election.

MP's are accountable to the electorate not corporations, TTIP is already proposing a major threat to us all in every way possible. Big money is already affecting the election of government this would take citizens completely out of the loop and what's left of so called democracy would be finished.

Further.... in todays news.

"Immigration limits are punishing business".

These people are sick.

Flooding the jobs market with people will lower wages for the people who are already below a living wage.

That only benefits one class of people.

MP'sPrivatisation

Post by willowthewisp on 27.08.15 11:44

Hi Bluebag,
That is why Dodgy Dave and cohorts are protecting them selves introducing more Lords to the Chambers, because one day he may wish to sit in the Lords claiming £300 per day plus those lavish meals and fine wines, champagne, pension rights protection, whilst the public have to pay into a different set up anyone, based on different values, "we're all in this together, Not"?
Looking after their own interests not the Country's, here,Here!!
Concerned expat, How are the MPs and Lords accountable to the public, "we can vote them out every five years?" or "once elected to the Lords they have entitlements to pass on the heritage to their offspring" how is that accountable to the public?

They're not and are increasingly becoming nothing more than instruments of corporate and wealthy interests. I left out 'supposed to be'. The combination of money supporting candidates, the main parties who are virtually indistinguishable, main stream media bias and the current electoral system disenfranchises citizens ever more effectively.
Cameron is busily putting corporate and elite supporters into the Lords it appears.
