Shriners is a bit weird imo

There are Freemasons Logdes (for example in Leicester) and Freemasons organizations (Shriners Intern. and Scottish Rite Freemasonry).
It could be that the McCanns are members of the Leiceister Freemasons Club and the Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

I’ve tried looking on line for an emblem with a similar shape,

The Scottish rite emblem consist’s of two eagles so it’s deffo not that and it isn’t the Shriner either

on the outside of the emblem it looks like the embroidery with ribbon shape the kind of thing you see motto’s like you find in a school badge on a blazer or a coat of arms, military etc

I have located the news report that showed the image of Madeleine in the blue Cinderella dress and blue gloves
It featured in a news reports from the 4th May 2007, with it featuring on Youtube, I was able to view the video clip on my large screen TV, I’m still not sure what Madeleine is holding in her hand, it could be a wallet, key fob, mobile contained in a case?
The triangle shape is a little clearer and looks different from the image on the previous post on this thread, it deffo isn’t a skull, it looks more like six silver circle shapes that makes it look like a triangle

Personally I don’t think it, I’ve looked at various M emblems and can’t see one that resembles, it’s not to say it’s different organisation’s logo or perhap’s it’s diamantés or something or maybe we’re looking to deep? I’m really not sure what to think
What I do think is strange is why the pic was chosen to end that ITV clip, it portrayed a much younger Madeleine, iccording to GM at the Leveson Inquiry he made out that Hohn Corner took it upon himself to release images of Madeleine to the media or words to that effect, personally I think it’s porkys I can’t see anyone doing something without getting the nod to do so from someone who appears to be controlling like GM, …. though strange that the likes of JC may have had copies of images to send in the first place

Even though it's not the Freemasons symbol, I wouldn't be surprised if Gerry is a Freemason. They are very common in the Leiceister area and it would fit his profile (control freak etc.). And in every holiday area where the McCanns spent their holidays (UK/Ireland, Spain/Mallorca, Portugal) there are big Freemasons communities.

I believe there is a huge possibility he belongs to a secret organisation,

Maybe you’ve got to be at certain level in an organisation before you are able to find out what it is or awarded it ?

The image with that triangle thing maybe it was picked for a reason that we are not aware of, although it might mean something to some one ?
Or it’s the opposite and has no meaning to anyone at all

To be honest Justice I wouldn't let any man near my little daughter in this context. I am pleased that teachers are no longer allowed to comfort a child innocent though this is the majority of times.
People say there has always been this level and kind of interest in children and that it just wasn't reported on. Certainly in my childhood in the 40s and 50s men were very on the fringes of childcare even there own children let alone anyone elses.

I can't answer that Justice because in my experience it has never been a thing. My father never bathed me. In those times early 40s men didn't. I was very strictly brought up and was seeing but rarely heard as I was a very quiet child. A loner maybe. Affection was a kiss on the cheek at bedtime.
Fast forward to having our children in the 60s and I think the nearest to childcare from my husband was maybe to rock a fretful child or give a bottle or tell a story but nothing more than that.
Not just my life but I can't remember any of my peer group at the baby clinic speaking of childcare other than that they, the mums, gave it.
All a bit Call the Midwife and what may I say is an excellent reproduction of what I vividly remember.
