Unsolvable?

In your opinion, what are the chances of Madeleine ever being found, alive or not? Will the truth of her disappearance ever be discovered and legally established?

Sadly, I think the answer is no. Unless a body is found, or some other material evidence is found to establish what happened, I don't think this case will ever be solved. I've got a feeling the body has been disposed of in such a way as to ensure it will never be found. This is part of the reason, by the way, why I don't think Scotland Yard are involved in a cover up. If they don't know who the prime suspects are in this case, they're in the wrong job. But is the evidence against them enough to secure a prosecution. If it's not, and they can't find any more material evidence, I can't see how the case can be solved.

Of course it's solvable'!

You 'eliminate' all the sprurios 'leads' fed to you by McCann PR (I believe that 'burglators' X,Y,Z were first 'introduced' BY McCann 'spokesman' CM)

Once you have 'eliminated' ALL 'other' possibilities, and there aren't that many, you are ONLY left with, the T9.

You re-interview them all, under caution, SEPERATELY, in 9 different 'locations', so they can 'explain' their contradictions and discrepancies, yes, and outright 'lies', all on record, in their previous, signed, 'statements' given to police officers.

ie., D Payne: "We passed Matt, on our way down to the tapas, Matt continued back to his apartment"

LP officer: "Who was at the sitting at the tapas table when you arrived?

DP: "Well, R O'B and er MATT were there, obviously"

(Matt WAS in his apartment when Payne 'arrived' at tapas table. 'Magic' Matt in TWO places 'at once', 100 metres apart!)

I'm not a DCI, BUT, even i know when people are trying to 'mug' me off, with BS!

Of course it's SOLVABLE!

But the MET have to 'have the WILL' to 'solve it, instead of being totally 'mugged' off, by people that 'think' they are 'superior' in intellect, to investigating police officers.

WHAT, or WHO, is 'stopping/obstructing' the OG/MET 'investigation' is, imo, another 'matter' altogether.

ps; Are the 38 'full time' officers and staff' at OG, at their 'headquarters' right now, today, 'trying' to 'solve' this most high profile child's 'abduction' (ala their 'remit')?

Or dosen't the 'investigation' do 'weekends'?

'full time' means 24/7 dosen't it?

One of the more rabid shills has just posted this, apparently without irony !
http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/412625/Madeleine-McCann-breakthrough-We-ve-got-new-evidence-witnesses-and-theories-say-police

Madeleine McCann breakthrough: We've got new evidence, witnesses and theories say police

TWELVE Britons were identified as suspects yesterday as Scotland Yard began a new inquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann
By MARK REYNOLDS
PUBLISHED: Fri, Jul 5,  . . . but then you see the information . . .2013

Police have had a breakthrough whilst reviewing Madeleine MacCann's disappearance
They are among 38 new names to emerge from a review of the case which has convinced senior detectives that she could still be alive.
They believe Madeleine, who would now be 10, was abducted by a stranger from her parents’ holiday apartment in Portugal six years ago and have found no evidence she has been murdered.
Announcing that it was now moving from a review to a full-blown investigation, the Yard said it had uncovered “new evidence, new witnesses and new theories”.
The 38 suspects or “people of interest” come from five countries, including the UK and Portugal.

So give or take two YEARS ago.
38 NAMED individuals, a team of 30 top detectives, 400 working days each, so 12,000 man-days among them,
a burget as large as they want, unlimited travel, unlimited everything, because the Home Office is paying . . .
and the result ?

I have no idea.
All we do know is that during that time they have used ground penetrating radar, cadaver search dogs, and have dug and poked around, clearly NOT looking for a living teenager.

and the 'result'?

THE MOST 'EXPENSIVE' PATSY, EVER, IN WORLD 'HISTORY'?

jta: There's no truth to the 'rumour' that the Beckenhams asked "WHERE can we buy one of these 'patsy's' from? Is there a 'waiting' list?"

I am inclined to go with what Goncalo Amaral said about solving the MBM case.

(Quote}

Gonçalo Amaral speaks of pressures in the Maddie case

Gonçalo Amaral speaks of pressures in the Maddie case

Former coordinator for the investigation of the Madeleine case said pressures existed around the process of the case for it never to be solved. Gonçalo Amaral says that the presence of the officer Clarence Mitchell is proof of that and argued that neither researchers nor directors should be afraid of working.

I don't quite understand why they could not used the ground penetration machine ,on the driveway at murats mums house ? what would it cost ,not much . yes I do know that its said that that area had been thoroughly looked into ,dogs etc . but I am not able to be %100 sure why it was not looked into ,onceand for all.Supposedly it was used on the rough ground area  when searching was done again ,and yes we were told that too has been searched before too .joyce1938

I don't know really, but tend to think as others have already said, the truth seems to be obstructed by a lack of will to establish it. This could only be due to political interference as Dr Amaral has claimed. But why?

I agree with jeanmonroe that questioning the T9 would potentially help, but maybe there has been enough time for their recollections to become consistent.

I also wonder as the various children become older what will happen. Will the twins ask serious questions of their parents, or have they been let in on any secrets that may exist, such as: "I know what happened is not due to the fact of us leaving the children asleep. I know it happened under other circumstances"

I have no doubt at all that the truth of Madeleine's disappearance will one day be known. I also have no doubt whatsoever that the McCanns (and some of their extended family) and the majority of, if not the entirety of, the Tapas bunch and everyone else who has a guilty conscience regarding Madeleine's disappearance (more than we know, I don't doubt) wake every morning knowing that they are on borrowed time. I'm sure that the FIFA officials who are now enjoying their meals off trays (how I loved that phrase when I read it) felt similarly...yesterday and today, I got away with it, tomorrow, hopefully so....oh bother, being hauled away before breakfast in bedsheets.

Mr
I agree. The case is solvable and more than likely OG know much of the details of what happened.  Unfortunately the politics involved are the only stumbling block. They were back in 2007 and still are.

Of COURSE it's 'solvable'

Firstly, you 'set up' a 'proper' team of 'investigators'.

I 'suggest'

Ex ACC (Derbyshire Police) Steve Cotterill (Philpotts 'case''....SOLVED)
Ex DCI Driscoll (MET Police) (got very, VERY, 'close' to exposing child abuse in Lambeth, before being, suddenly, 'removed' by senior MET police officers)
ACC (Police Scotland) Malcolm Graham (Mikaeel Kular 'case'.....SOLVED)
Our 'own' PM (information 'provider')
DS (Wiltshire Police) Steve Fulcher (Sian O'Callaghan AND Becky Godden 'cases'.......SOLVED)

That's a 'team' who'd, imo, take NO 'BS' from the T9 or JW!

D Payne would NOT be 'witholding', FROM that 'team' (because it's the wrong 'forum', ah 'diddums') 'the 'few things' he considers relevent and pertinent, to establish the material truth' ABOUT a three years old child's 'disappearance'!

And the ADDED 'bonus' is, imo, the PROPER 'team' would have this 'case' SOLVED, PDQ, and would save all us UK taxpayers, MILLIONS of £££'s!

Yes, political interference is clear, but why? Has anyone come up with a credible explanation? It's telling the way OG utters not a word about the evidence implicating the parents, particularly the dogs, not even to discredit it.

unsolvable

Post by willowthewisp on 08.06.15 9:32

Perhaps former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and home Secretarie's Alan Johnson,Jacqui Smith would like to unburden their knowledge of the missing girl Madeleine McCann, as they had a hell of a lot to say when she disappeared from 5a Ocean Club Apartments?
GB met up with GMc,police awards ceremony,Big Jim Gamble, alongside a lot of dodgy friends and associates, cess pit really, quite disgusting if they have covered up for any perpetrators?
Clearly shows there is a pact of silence and that they(Government/Establishment) are not prepared to have the Truth emerge as to what happened!?

Yes, but what can be done to expose such a high level conspiracy to pervert the course of justice? Whatever the motive it surely has to be something worse than the 'disappearance' of one child. Until we know what this is, I'm not optimistic about the chances of the truth about MBM coming to light.

If there is a VIP involved and this is the reason for the high level of political interference, then once that person dies, it will come out. Just like with Saville. That was going on for decades, but unbelievably came out a week or so after he died. I see the same here. Someone is being protected, and whilst that person has friends in high places, nothing will be solved by the Met.

I ask myself, "where is the professional pride, the professional reputation" of IO's at OG?

They are, imo, being made to look total, incompetent MUGS!

"Mugged over" by 'a pact of silence' T9 and JW,

Over FOUR YEARS, £12.75 MILLION taxpayer funded, 'review/investigation' and not a scintilla of evidence that ONLY what the McCann's 'told' them, is TRUE!

The T9 and JW just, imo, 'p*ss on OG's 'head' and current IO, and previous IO, just 'say' "umbrella's up everybody, it's RAINING"!

25-30 years to 'build' a 'reputation', 5 seconds 'associated' with OG, to totally LOSE/DESTROY 'it'!

Think on, DCI 'I nick 'em, even before they know their nicked' Wall, many 'serving' Met Police officers, ARE 'talking' about YOU!

Still, no 'shame', i suppose, in being 'totally outwitted/mugged' by more 'intellectual' people (doctors?) (higher IQ's) than you, Ms Wall, is there?
