And the other very telling signs that there was no co operation with the police to try and go over every detail of what could possibly have happened to Maddie. The questions that sat unanswered for one. Not even the tapas crew wanted to help with a reconstruction of events of that night. Couldn't be bothered to trouble themselves with any of it. What kind of people are these people? But they will go on some stupid bike ride to drum up some more money. It's all about the money, however much they want to deny that fact, its obvious, IMO.
I hope the general public don't fall for any of it and stop donating to them.

Yes it is very bizarre, it's as if she is not the mother of a missing child at all, as if she has to act out the part, but stumbles here and there with some truth leaking through the lies. I wonder what other parents of missing children would think about all that, and if they even know what she has stated? There is something very wrong in this picture, IMO. Did she have no real bond with her child perhaps? Just because a woman has a child doesn't necessarily make her a mother.

IMO something happened to Madeleine that three PMs want to keep from the public. The McCanns, knowing this, decided to make money from the situation - they knew that they'd never get Madeleine back. Unfortunately for them they stayed in Portugal, the PJ naturally got involved and the McCanns found themselves in an awkward position which Kate responded to by not answering questions. Gordon Brown applied pressure on the Portuguese and the McCanns fled back to England.
The other Tapas members knew the truth and, therefore, that their voluntary return to Portugal was meaningless and indeed could make matters much worse for everyone. The McCanns, however, were intent on pursuing money and continued making noises - within a few days of their return, Gordon Brown publicly told them in effect to shut up.
Their scheming of course has brought them an immense amount of money, which they have largely spent on litigation, legal advice and pointless investigations. In addition, they quickly realised that their seemingly hopeless situation could be used to promote their involvement in charitable causes etc - thus keeping themselves in the public eye.
As to OG, I still fervently hope that it is legitimate and that they apparently haven't approached any of the Tapas 9 because they haven't yet got evidence. On the other hand the £10 million is an immense amount to us as individuals, but chicken feed (equivalent to around 16p per head) to the population as a whole.
This is of course simply conjecture on my part which others may see as nothing more than a rather poor conspiracy theory.

No, not at all. You put forth a fair enough theory of how you see it, and i agree, it has been all about a profiteering for the McC's, and they still want to keep that going endlessly it seems.espeland wrote:Yes it is very bizarre, it's as if she is not the mother of a missing child at all, as if she has to act out the part, but stumbles here and there with some truth leaking through the lies. WHY WOULD James Murray ‘’ who has followed the case from the start ' get his dates so wrong?
QUOTE FROM PAMELA FENN’S STATEMENT PJ FILES.
‘’ She also refers to the day of the 1st May 2007, when she was at home alone, at approximately 22.30 she heard a child cry, and that due the tone of the crying seemed to be a young child and not a baby of two years of age or younger. Apart from the crying that continued for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, and which got louder and more expressive, the child shouted ?Daddy, Daddy?, the witness had no doubt that the noise came from the floor below. At about 23.45, an hour and fifteen minutes after the crying began, she heard the parents arrive, she did not see them, but she heard the patio doors open, she was quite worried as the crying had gone on for more than an hour and had gradually got worse……………’’

FROM SUNDAY EXPRESS MAY 2013
SCOTLAND YARD detectives are trying to find a middle-aged couple said to have entered Madeleine McCann’s holiday apartment to comfort her because she was crying, we can reveal today.
It is believed they entered the bedroom on May 2, 2007, the evening before Madeleine disappeared from the Ocean Club at Praia da Luz on Portugal’s Algarve.
The tip-off was given by two key witnesses who were reinterviewed as part of the Yard’s two-year, £4.5million investigation.
It is already known that Pamela Fenn, who lived directly above apartment 5a, heard a child, believed to be Madeleine, crying for about an hour on the evening of May 2.
He's definitely trying to link the alleged couple , Mrs Fenn's alleged hearing a child crying and Kate's confusion over when the crying happened.
