Kate McCann "more driven than ever" to find Madeleine
As the eighth anniversary of Madeleine McCann's disappearance in the Algarve approaches, her mother Kate says she is determined to continue the search

By Nicola Harley
12:01AM BST 01 May 2015

Kate McCann says she is "more driven than ever" to continue the search for her missing daughter Madeleine ahead of the eighth anniversary of her disappearance.
Madeleine was three when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment in Portugal's Algarve on May 3 2007 as her parents, Kate and Gerry, dined at a nearby tapas restaurant with friends.
Mrs McCann, who is fundraising for Missing People, of which she is an ambassador, has spoken out as she announced that she will lead a 500-mile charity bike ride from Edinburgh to London in June to raise £10,000.

She said: "As the eighth anniversary of our daughter Madeleine's abduction is upon us, I'm more driven than ever to continue the search for Madeleine and to help other families who face the pain of a child being missing. All of us can play a part in helping this important charity."

Mrs McCann will lead 20 cyclists on a Cycle Challenge starting at Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh's landmark hill, on June 13.
They will then take in Newcastle, York, Nottingham and Northampton before finishing at the Tower of London on June 17.
Madeleine's disappearance is one of the most famous missing persons cases of all time.
Last week her parents won a libel payout against Portuguese detective Goncalo Amaral, who had been on trial over claims he made in a book and a documentary that the couple were involved in Madeleine's disappearance in Praia da Luz.

In a written verdict, a Lisbon court agreed that Mr Amaral should pay Mr and Mrs McCann £179,000 each in damages and it banned further sales of his book, The Truth Of The Lie.
British police officers spent eight days searching three areas of land in Praia da Luz last June, close to where Madeleine disappeared, but found no new evidence.
The Metropolitan Police launched their own operation in 2011.

Missing People is launching a fundraising effort alongside Mrs McCann's ride. £MissforMay encourages people to give up a luxury for May and donate the money they save.
Its chief executive, Jo Youle, said: "We are hugely grateful to Kate McCann for taking on this incredible challenge to help missing people and their families across the UK."

Very appropriate from Lazz today:

http://l-azzeri-lies-in-the-sun.com/Clarence_Confirms.html

Clarence Confirms

Well, well, well, Clarence Mitchell and the McCanns have taken the world on a bit of a ride the last 8 years, a rather expensive one.   One which the public paid for………………..

Clarence confirmed in his statement, what Gerry McCann confirmed BACK IN MAY 2007 - they don't expect Madeleine home.

Clarence confirmed, that they know the Metropolitan Investigation is not going to produce either an alive child or the remains of a dead one.  Nor are they going to produce a perpetrator or a plausible reason as to what happened to her.

My advice to one and all.   Keep asking questions about this case. And keep your EVERY PENNY IN YOUR POCKET!

Clarence and Gerry McCann confirmed that is the best place for it!

And some wonder why they so badly wanted, no, needed, to silence Dr Goncalo Amaral?

………………………….

Now KM’s off on another one!

If she is More Driven to find madeleine, why doesn't she simply ask Gerry where he put her.

And doesn't More Driven imply that for the last 8 years she has been LESS driven. Certainly their combined lack of action would suggest that.
Are they now going to look for Edgar's Hellish Lair in the lawless Hinterland within 10 miles of Pdl, at long last, or are we all to carry on pretending he and Mitchell did not say that.

More driven than ever...that's not hard given the level of drive shown previously to find her daughter.

If she'd said more driven than I am to chase cash, or more driven than I am to keep people that don't share my views quiet, then it might have meant something.

In other words, believe the opposite.
It literally means she is MORE DRIVEN to find Madeleine is DEAD believer and sue everyone of them off their pants now that they have more blood money.

The blood money allows them to spin, to recycle their lies...

It's not Mcjurisprudence to repeat any of the 84 "PROVED" points. They are in the VERDICT, literally !

Why is she bike riding, 'local bike' ride (?) in UK instead of Portugal, where she 'feels' er, umm, y'know, NEAREST to Madeleine?

Say from Lisbon high court to PDL.

She can read all the wonderful welcoming graffiti 'on the way'.

Hopefully she'll 'STOP' at ALL the 'STOP the McCanns CIRCUS' road signs.!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Q.  "Are you aware that in not answering the questions you are jeopardising (risking/damaging/hindering/harming) the investigation, which seeks to discover what happened to your daughter?"

A.  "YES, if that’s what the investigation thinks." (K McCANN, September 2007)

"whether the case (into our 'missing' daughter, Madeleine) is re-opened, or NOT, it DOSEN'T matter" (K McCANN Lisbon, 23rd September, 2009.)

"it may sound odd, but we were GLAD the investigation, into our daughter's 'disapperance', HAD BEEN CLOSED" (K McCANN. P317, bewk. 'madeleine'. May 2011.)

-------------------------------------------------------------
So, a Missing People 'Ambassador' who did the LEAST to 'find' her 'missing' daughter, who admits to jeopardising the investigation, who was 'GLAD' the investigation had been CLOSED and it didn't matter, to her, if the investigation was EVER re-opened, is NOW, 8 YEARS 'later', 'more driven than.... EVER' to actually START to 'find' Madeleine.?

G McCann: "There's no evidence that Madeleine is dead and there's no evidence to implicate us IN HER DEATH"

When will we see a sponsored flashy sports car race?

The rate they're racking up the money, wouldn't surprise me to hear that Mr. & Mrs. were taking part in such a race.

What a damn cheek! STILL appealing for money so that Kate can "find" Madeleine.

Still, I notice that there are only 20 cyclists so it's not exactly the London to Brighton.

Be interesting to know who the 20 cyclists are? And who will sponsor them? Anyone prepared to go on a sponsored bike ride with Kate McCann as "ambassador" for missing children would need their head examining, imo.

So, the public are expected to "give up a luxury" in May and donate money so that Kate McCann can find her daughter, are they?

DAMN CHEEK OF IT!

Did the McCanns ever give up one single luxury in order to find save their own daughter?

Well, they've 'taken in' Cameron, May, BHH, OG, LP, UK 'Madia', etc., too,  haven't they, but, BUT, and this is what 'niggles' them the MOST, the Great British public, have NOT been 'taken in' by them!

I hope OG 'jacks it in' which would leave the McCanns 'unprotected', in many people's view, leaving the McCann's to 'go it alone'.

And with the possible 'bonus' of all those lovely second 'tranche' PJ 'files' being made 'public'!

G&K McCann are just not 'likeable' to 99% of the UK 'public'.

Dosen't matter what they 'do'................almost everyone does not like them.

People are 'sick and tired' of the 'self promoting, grinning, laughing, lying (G5A shutter) gruesome, twosome' on TV and in 'papers' when 'pretendingly', DESPERATELY, 'talking' about their, supposedly, 'missing', at the time, 3 years old, child.

They know exactly what 'happened' to Madeleine.

EITHER she is 'dead' or 'sitting in a luxury lair' (in the UK) waiting to be 'revealed' (scam) so they, and their erm, 'WIDER (cough) ref: CM,  family', can 'make' more money from their 'wee darling,........ cash cow'!

all mo, obviously.

Thank you for linking that interview. It is so very incriminating and tells the viewer a great deal.

Kate didn't look for Madeleine because she knew there was no point in doing so. Madeleine had not been abducted by a random bogey-man.

They didn't look because "We'd been working really hard really....."

But they were supposedly enjoying a lovely family holiday right up to the point that the abductor struck on Thursday evening.

So what had they been "working really hard" at in the days prior to Madeleine's alleged abduction? In fact, working so hard that Gerry lay down on a camp bed the very night that Madeleine was supposedly 'taken' and kept saying: "Kate, we need to rest." Then went to sleep. (Page 81, Madeleine).

As you would do, of course, if your child had been stolen from her bed that very night by a paedophile abductor who was going to steal her away to a hellish liar.

Two presumably ‘fraudulently named’ donations on KM’s page, which in itself is not a particular problem as the money must have been paid by whoever posted them.

However the ‘gift aid’ boxes must have been ticked fraudulently, which is presumably a criminal (?) offence, unless it attaches to the real donor. Should HMRC be having a look?

Clearly not Hideho or Ben T. and is she not a Canadian citizen in any case?

I am sorry for hate campaign that I've orchestrated over the years. However, since Gonzo Amaral got his comeuppance I have seen the light. I hope you find Madeleine very soon and beg your forgiveness
Donation by Lizzy Hideho Taylor on 01/05/15
£50.00
+ £12.50 Gift Aid

Good luck with the bike ride Kate, sorry for the small donation but I don't get my giro until Thursday

One off news, so will post it here.

McCann Trolls: Police Won't Take Action

Police say some of the online messages sent to the family were "extremely distasteful", but none would lead to prosecutions.

12:51, UK, Friday 01 May 2015
Kate and Gerry McCann pose with a computer generated image of how their missing daughter Madeleine might look now, during a news conference in London

Gerry McCann said last year that trolls should be prosecuted

No further action will be taken against dozens of people accused of targeting online abuse at the family of Madeleine McCann, Sky sources have revealed.

Is the no action to protect the identity of the Dossier Compiler and/or member of the McCann family that handed in the Dossier to Police?

Anti-abuse campaigners had compiled a dossier of names after becoming alarmed at the threatening nature of some tweets, posts and messages on online forums directed at Kate and Gerry McCann.

Hundreds of messages have been posted by trolls who believe, despite no evidence, that the McCanns had some involvement in the disappearance of their daughter in Portugal in 2007.

Good reminder to readers that many do not believe the McCanns.

In a letter to the campaigners, Leicestershire Police Assistant Chief Constable Roger Bannister said: "While finding that much of the material was extremely distasteful and unpleasant in nature, it was determined that none of the messages/postings constituted a prosecutable offence."

Martin Brunt should be punished for lying and intimidating Brenda Leyland.

Madeleine McCann missing

Madeleine went missing in Portugal in 2007

Sky News Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt said: "Leicestershire Police had spent about eight months investigating the dossier, which effectively was a catalogue of abuse tweeted and posted online elsewhere by antagonists of Kate and Gerry McCann.

Oh Golly, that's a new label !
Is an-other self-serving journalist going to jump on the gravy train to make a film about McCanns antagonists.

"There were dozens of such individuals identified in the dossier. They had threatened violence and even death against the couple."

The online posts included words like petrol and matches, handcuffs, shooting, torture and lynching, Brunt said.

Trust Brunt to add fuel

One woman named in the dossier, Brenda Leyland, committed suicide after being confronted by Sky News.

Brunt said those who compiled the dossier have reacted with "absolute dismay" at the decision not to prosecute. "Those"? More than one compiler . How many exactly? Kate and her drinking buddies?

"They say it is tantamount to giving the trolls, as they call them, carte blanche to carry on abusing the McCanns," he said.

Why did Brunt that hypocritical idiot not call or pro Mcs trolls to be outed and punished?
Twitter abuse

Stella Creasy (L) and Caroline Criado-Perez both faced online abuse

"Although we haven't heard directly from the McCanns, I'm sure they too will be astonished because when Sky News revealed this dossier in September last year, Gerry McCann said such trolls should be prosecuted."

Successful prosecutions have been brought against online trolls in the UK.

In September, Peter Nunn, who sent abusive Twitter messages to Labour MP Stella Creasy, was jailed for 18 weeks.

The abuse started after Ms Creasy supported a successful campaign to put the image of Jane Austen on the £10 note.

Two other people who sent abusive tweets to Ms Creasy, as well as to fellow banknote campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez, were also given jail sentences last year.

Isabella Sorley was jailed for 12 weeks and John Nimmo for eight. They were ordered to pay £400 compensation to both victims.

In June, Jake Newsome, who wrote an offensive Facebook post about Ann Maguire, a teacher stabbed to death in her classroom, was jailed for six weeks.

Earlier this week, the McCanns won a libel case against a former detective in Portugal.

In his bestselling book, Goncalo Amaral claimed the McCanns hid their daughter's body and faked an abduction after she died in an accident.

Geez, they sure use every opportunity they can to repeat the McCanns involvement....

A civil court in Lisbon ordered Mr Amaral to pay €606,000 (£433,000) to the McCanns.

Intersting that the MSM are repeating, at every opportunity and on every occasion the entire set of allegations, and quotes from Senior Police Officers.
