Jeez, how do you administer prescription drugs such as morphine to a child?

You take your child to a doctor when your child is in pain. You know what over the counter pain relief is permissable until you can get medical help.

If your child had an infection you wouldn't give them antibiotics in the house that were prescribed for someone else.

An accident?

I don't think this is tragic. I think it's sheer bloody stupidity.

Hands up all those who have Morphine tablets available in their homes.
Ah ! Yes, Quite so.
The "full facts" have been hidden, once again, by the MSM.

I think most people have some form of morphine at home.   codeine is an opiate.  Lots of meds have codeine in them.   I would imagine he has given him Tramadol which is probably one of the more common opiates given as a strong painkiller.

I think it is tragic but not deliberate.

Agree about codeine, but it has specifically said Morphine on each occasion.

I am glad someone asked the question as to why the doctor wasn't called (if that is the case).   Who would give any medication to a child without first consulting a medic?

Oh well he's admitted it and many seem to think he should be spared jail as he will have to live with it the rest of his life.   Don't get that way of thinking at all.

Tramadol is not an opiate but a drug with opioid working. Where I come from opiates is reseved for drugs derived from opium. It is not on the US  list of Schedule II drugs (drugs that have a high possibility of dependence and abuse). It is used for moderate to moderate severe pain, where opiates are used for severe pain.  It is rather safe. It is being used a lot in veterinary medicine because it is so safe. I doubt that one dosage of even 100mg would have killed the boy, unless he was using other medication too.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
