Have the pro McCanns shot themselves in the foot?

Back to the original question

I think the Pros have shot the McCanns in the foot, or stabbed them in the back, or kicked them in the ovaries.

People now know the depths of depravity, the foul language and the descent into threats to harm and do damage that the Pros are capable of against people who merely ask a few pertinent questions.
They will find out that the Pro-McCann lobby actively support Child murderers who chopped up the body of their own daughter / niece and disposed of it - and then lied about being beaten.
They will find that the Pro-McCann lobby do not accept Court verdicts in any jurisdiction unless it conforms to their own prejudices
They will discover that the Pro-McCan lobby ignore all evidence, except the bald statements of denial from the parents, even when those statements of denial contradict a previous or subsequent statement of denial.

Then add to this the knowledge that the McCanns have been using Funds from somewhere to pursue libel cases - I have lost count of how many, or how much
Then add the many thousands more people who will be taking an interest and who will come across this and many other sites explaining the problems and will look on YouTube . . .
100,000 view of the DVDs for example agains fewer than 50 books

And now, they see that that Gerry McCann called for firm action to be taken, and as a direct result of firm action it appears that a woman has lost her life

People may being to make a decision about whether they want the McCanns as close friends.
The sort you would trust to let your child play with theirs and have a sleep-over

Am in total agreement. We have to keep the wider picture in mind. This has only happened because of the initial political interference into justice running its natural course.  Political interference prevented PJ from completing a proper investigation into what happened to M.
This death occurred because people know that and are not happy with that.
Only DC can resolved this matter and he should feel pressured to enable a proper investigation - not an investigation which aims solely to investigate the 'abduction'. There was no abduction IMO and most of the worlds, come to that. IMO IMO IOO
The grotesque farce sinks ever lower.  There has been media involvement and political interference from the outset.  On another thread (sorry don't have link to hand at the moment) someone posted a quote from KMcCs book, refuting a claim that DP contacted the media on 3/4 May 2007.  Someone did but why and on whose say so?  If a child is suddenly missing and believed to have been abducted/kidnapped, getting the media involved without explicit and expert advice is a highly dangerous gamble which could cost the missing one their life.  Most people in that situation would not jump the gun or take unnecessary risks, yet in this case the evidence has demonstrated that on more than one occasion advice regarding media involvement was ignored.  To put this down to mere arrogance on the part of the T9 is hard to credit yet someone took what seems to have been an informed decision to kick start a media campaign while the child's bed was hardly cold or the forensics team had arrived.

The media as we know turned on the McCs for a short period when their arguido status was declared, then retreated following a spirited fight back invloving legal threats and declarations by media figures that those questioning the official line were internet nutters.  This type of emotive language and dogged insistence that the T9 did no wrong on any level whatever lies at the root of the bitter divisions fuelled by this case.  Those who are on now social media, commenting on news sites or in the print media that BL deserved to die because she was a "troll" are missing the irony that in doing so they themselves are "trolling".    It's long past time that this circus was brought to an end by a thorough and proper investigation into all of the facts, not just one which, as you say, aims solely to investigate the "abduction".  That is all that most people are asking for; they don't "hate" because they believe justice has not yet been seen to be done.  If the McCs are properly investigated and genuinely found to have no case to answer, then so be it, people can accept that.  The fact is they nor the TP appear not to have been and until that is done or credible evidence proving abduction took place turns up, there is no sign of this ending.

I agree Monty Heck. It will be absurd if hat does not happen. Whoever is being, or has been protected has a lot to answer for.  GA called for political courage
in this case and that is what is required.

Exactly right BB, but it seems the police weren't interested so the desperate Mcs turned to their mate Murdoch to do the dirty.

After Brunty trolled Brenda and Gerry made his statement they must have thought they had scored another point in their pathetic crusade for victimhood but it all went terribly wrong.

I suspect they are not upset for Brenda but for the repercussions this may have for themselves.

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
