Not sure if it's me but it looks as if all comments and references to the book have been removed from the author's Facebook page??

The removal of all the posts including Ms Pamela Gurney's saves me the expense of finding a good libel lawyer.

I made a polite comment about the book and its unanswered questions and she responded including the comment 'you have caused your fair share of trouble for the McCann couple as we all know.' My comment did not last very long but her response to it was left!

All I have done is to ask legitimate questions about the Fund.

And write a fiction book 'Fateful Decisions' about two mothers who were rather careless with their childcare arrangements. Did Kate get the book for last Xmas? Maybe she didn't like it? OMG!

I am wondering if we will now see media stories about the authors having to take all comments about their new book off their Facebook page due to a troll attacks?

It's really awful the way they have taken other people's work without permission, and it may be that they have found themselves at the wrong end of a couple of lawsuits. However just removing references to the book isn't enough, they really need to take it off the shelves until that's resolved. They can't just take other people's work and then accuse those same people of being 'haters'.

Was it Kate and Gerry who supplied them these as well (in addition to contacts of their ardent supporters and Redwood), so that they can look proper victims of public persecution. And, so the sympathetic, stand to attention S and S could come to their defence in the new book?

You would expect the authors to have approached at least a few of the Tapas 7 since they were direct witnesses at the crime scene but none of them seemed to have been interviewed. This lot of holiday friends were no doubt exempted from the McCanns list supplied to S&S that should be interviewed or contacted.

They certainly seemed incapable of being independent of the McCanns' guiding hands when they had to be given Redwood's contact details when that is easily available on the internet as a poster had pointed out.

Whooshing their book from FB is a sudden departure from their stated desire to answer reasonable questions; and not looking good for them. Now even their friends and supporters cannot comment about the book.

Just search for her on FB. Interestingly although all her comments are whooshed in her own timeline if you click on the profile of one of her friends you will get links to some pro TM blogs and a barrage of comments by PG herself. The person has 3 initials
