A reminder of what seems to be an in joke about Jimmy Savile's activities.

This letter couldn't have been a surprise to him - he would have seen it in advance - so it's likely that he wrote it himself.

I get the impression with a certain infamous couple that some of their comments are creepy in jokes too.
What a self centred tosspot he was . Not sure if he was bragging or warning someone to shut up . Either way he was scum .

Anyone else read SYP Chief Inspector David Crompton's letter to Keith Vaz? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/22_08_14_keith_vaz_letter.pdf

Amazing that in this very high profile case the BBC have gone after the story very aggressively, to the point of possibly being illegal, and yet they nor any other media have done so in the McCann case.

Just what is it about the McCann case that makes the media seem allergic?

Truly baffles me.

Breaking on the BBC website (again?!) Cliff has been interviewed by South Yorkshire Police.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28916746

That was kept quiet. Probably for the best though.

Sir Cliff Richard has been interviewed by members of South Yorkshire Police, his spokesman said.

He voluntarily met with officers on Saturday and was not arrested or charged.

I've read that his fans are buying his 1990s song "I Still Believe In You" in droves to show their support.

See they are using more flattering photos of him now in the press, this friend names all the stars that got away with it but fails to name those convicted or even Savile.
Still no praise yet from his closest mates who he  performed with for decades.
Was referring to these images in the D. M.

I am sure they will come forward in his defence but if not then makes you wonder what they might know ,being involved with him so long?

Reported that he has been interviewed under caution already.

Sir Cliff voluntarily met with detectives investigating the sex abuse claims
The veteran star has strongly denied the claims made against him
Sir Cliff was questioned 'under caution' but was not arrested or charged
Star's home was raided last month amid claim he assaulted boy in 1985
The BBC has been accused of a 'cover-up' over its coverage of the raid

He was interviewed under caution in Portugal, wasn't he?
Your country has no legal status to do such in another country, has it?

They would need the help of the Pt police to interview him,
only way to do that is to make him an arguido, me thinks.

Perhaps I've got it wrong.
Uk police travelling to Portugal to interview a person with the nationality of Barbados under caution?
Just like that?

Please explain

I  don't understand how the BBC have been accused of a cover up, when a photograph from the BBC was photographed at the scene by other news channels/newspapers they must of been there too.

I was thinking of starting a thread about `Dreams` which I find interesting.

Anyway, to keep on topic, last night I had a dream about CR - he had committed suicide by jumping into a pool full of piranha fish and they had eaten him alive.  Weird eh?

I'll break your dream, woofer. Would you believe that I was actually engrossed by the piranha fish at Bristol Zoo, Yesterday? As I was with the beautiful "butterfly forest" and the adorable silver-backed gorillas. exalt

Blood and cadaver alerts
dismissed by UK Government

Retired DCI Gonçalo Amaral: "The English can always present the conclusions to which they themselves arrived in 2007. Because they know, they have the evidence of what happened - they don't need to investigate anything. All this is now a mere 'show off'."

Retired murder DCI Colin Sutton: "I would also like to make the point that Operation Grange was so restricted from the start as to be destined to fail."

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley made public on national TV that Operation Grange is a complete fraud.

Ex-DCI Andy Redwood had a "revelation moment" on BBC's Crimewatch on 14th October 2013 when he announced that Operation Grange had eliminated the Tanner sighting - which opened up the 'window of opportunity', in accordance with their remit, to allow the fake abduction to happen.

Despite "irrelevant behaviour" from blood and cadaver dogs in the McCann's apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes, and in the car they hired three weeks after Maddie disappeared, Ex-Chief Inspector, Ian Horrocks, said: "The thought that Kate and Gerry McCann had anything to do with the death of their daughter is frankly preposterous."

Gerry McCann called for example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY News reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room. Brenda paid the price. She paid with her life.

Ex-Deputy Chief Constable, Jim Gamble QPM, congratulated SKY reporter, Martin Brunt, on twitter for doorstepping Brenda Leyland on behalf of Gerry McCann.
