ROUND UP.

Chloes family have already said they think it is a family friend/known person who took her
-------------------------------------------------------
"We've identified the rubbish that was collected on the day and we will be going through that," Det McNab told reporters on Friday.

The family's home is being examined for any clues, he said.

Inspector Kevin Guteridge says every lead is being followed.

"What we can't afford to do is have a closed mind on this," he said.
---------------------------------------------------------------

"What we can't afford to do is have a closed mind on this," Inspector Kevin Guteridge says

UNLIKE DCI Redwood who only has ONE 'remit', to the total exclusion of all OTHER 'explanations', (as to why Madeleine is 'not here')........ 'abduction, abduction, abduction', because ONLY the McCanns TOLD him that.
---------------------------------------------------
The father has been hospitalised after somebody punched him in the mouth, in the main street of the town Sad

https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/22545894/chloe-campbell-crime-scene-established-at-childers-home-of-missing-3yo-girl/

Also just heard on the radio that Homicide detectives have been sent in.

So just like Maddie, then [/sarcasm]

Oh, and "six persons close to the family" are being questioned. Sound familiar? At all?
---------------------------------------------------------
OFM FB are all over this like a rash.

We all wish for a positive outcome, but if events were to take a sinister turn, how long before the story gets whooshed from their Facebook page? I bet they're closely monitoring ...

Same as Madeleine's Aunty Phil, Gerry McCanns sister, did!

Oh thank God for that. I really didn't expect this outcome. I hope she is ok and recovers quickly from her ordeal.

Do any gypsies live on the showground or are any currently there as part of a travelling circus or whatnot?

They are famous for not kidnapping children

I didn't for a moment think that she was an Australian Madeleine!

It will be interesting to see where she was and with whom all this time.

According to the latest Australian press reports, she was not found at the showgrounds. She wandered home "on her own" at about 1am local time.

It seems to me someone likely had her and dropped her off near her home.

I'd look at who the parents were partying with in the 24 hours prior to this "incident".

ETA:

CHLOE Campbell who went missing from her Childers home on Thursday has been found alive.
Police have confirmed the three-year-old “wandered home” just before 1am Saturday morning and has been taken to the hospital to be checked out.
Police are expected to make a statement shortly.

ETA: If it turns out someone known to the family took her and then released her, I wonder whether the UK media will be so quick to continue drawing comparisons to Madeline...

Chloe Campbell is thought to have walked back to her home - around 42 hours after her disappearance sparked a massive search.
-----------------------------------------------

42 HOURS 'massive search' and she is found just 100-150 metres away?

Maybe she was 'removed' (family 'scam'?) but the publicity was too much and she was 'returned' to 'be found' just a 'few' (McCann 'McMetres' 'like being in our back garden') metres away.

Still, all was alright anyway, she could SEE the roof of her house from the 'show grounds'!

And, wee Chloe, 'had a clear line of sight of her parents'! (Philomena McCann)

Philomna McCann: "Gerry and Kate are in a clear line of sight of their kids".

(cos the super McCanns, unlike we mere 'mortals', can 'see' THROUGH solid walls of a building, into the kiddies room, you'll understand!)

It's hiighly unlikely she wandered off of her own accord carrying a sleeping bag, blanket, and a toy dog,.

Thank god this child is safe.

Where does this leave the MSM's 'copycat crime'?

That sounds like a very likely scenario to me and it was probably someone who was 'partying' at the house.

Thank God she's safe. The question now is what happened to her during those missing hours.

Mr So happy she has been found alive! Never been so glad to have been wrong

But 'wandered home at 1am' - she was 3, not 15! Story seems to be getting weirder... Like NFWTD I'm interested to know where she was and with whom... Won't speculate til more is known, but McC's... I wouldn't say too much just yet

We all know that people do stupid things when drunk and I can actually imagine that someone could have been engaged in chat with her and thought it might be a bright idea to sneak out for an adventure. But only that. She'd be growing tired and the person would be sobering up so take her back home.

42 hours is a long time to keep her.

Re: Missing girl in Australia

Post by sharonl on 11.04.14 18:46

Just catching up on this story.  Have we had the "Kate and Gerry given renewed hope as a 3 year old resembling their daughter has been found alive and well after being snatched, Maddie style," yet?

I am so glad that this little girl has been found safe, but am I being cynical in thinking that this case has far to many likenesses to the McCann case to be genuine?

Blonde 3 year old (why is the right eye covered?)
Pink\Lilac hat similar to one of Madeleines'
Child sleeping alone downstairs
Faulty window
Soft toy
Blanket

Australia is Murdoch country isn't it?

Do the McCanns have any connection to the Campbell family?

I am sorry but I am not really buying this story as it stands.
