The BBC most helpfully lists 10 of the top theories about the disappearance of MH370:

...but the Diego Garcia theory doesn't make it to their 'Top Ten'

They don't control or own me.   Other than those which grace my table, I'm hard pressed to think of any pies that the Rothschilds and the Oppenheimers haven't got their fingers in.

Eta maybe this is the reason Kate was keen to make it known that she is descended from Ashkenazi jews via her father's family?

Did she ???   and is she ???   I know its off topic, but just a quickie.
I'll try to put this reply on another thread which mentioned haemophilia - but -was Googling haemophilia and discovered that although the usual H A and H B strains of it are extremely rare in females, unless you have a H father and a H carrier mother, a strain of it was confined to Ashkenazic Jews.

Post referring to haemophilia possibility is JeanMonroe's post, at 12.34 today, on "Terminally McCanned" thread.

ADMIN -I tried to move this to Terminally McCanned , but couldn't sad  would you be so kind as to move it for me? XX

Here's an interesting theory by a pilot that MH370 'piggybacked' with another 777 so that both planes would be picked up as one on radars.

There are also 10 top theories about the disappearance of Madeleine?

Strange that the media and the BBC in particular have never chosen to publish them!

The BBC broadcasts what our government and the USA direct it to broadcast.  To date, AFAIK, they haven`t even stated that the Ukraine now have an extremely right wing, anti-semitic, violent, illegally, self elected government that have already proposed to bring in the death penalty for anyone they consider traitors and are planning to ban protests.  One of them has also threatened to blow up the gas pipeline and another has said they will develop and use nuclear warfare.  They are nuts ... these are the people the BBC are covering for ....  at the behest of the USA you can bet.  Sorry to go off topic, but I`m so p***** off with it all.

Re: Missing Flight MH370

Post by Tony Bennett on 20.03.14 9:01

I found this in another place:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

QUOTE

So let me get this straight. A fly by wire capable jet goes missing. It is on one course, turns and goes in almost the opposite direction on a heading which would take it to the US base at Diego Garcia. The plane has 20 technology nerds aboard who happen to work for China designing "classified" leading edge computer/internet control software and are carrying the matching hardware with them on the plane. They are heading to Beijing with all the others. We are shown pictures of muslim looking men as if they are on the plane....setting up the expectation that the plane has been hijacked. Convenient story line so far.

While we are down the rabbit hole this far, let’s go all the way. The jet lands by wire at Diego Garcia, the appropriate hardware and software is offloaded as are the nerds. Interrogation proceeds and all the "secrets" you would want to gain from this "intervention" are gleaned from the assets. You now load everyone back on board the plane and have it take off headed back to where it was supposed to go and at 35,000 ft altitude it implodes/explodes and the debris field is now found. How they missed it in the beginning is a mystery. But the western mindset is already prepared to believe that all things eastern and "Malaysian/Indonesian/Muslim" are barely able to tie shoelaces let alone search an ocean.

So what do you think so far? "Am I right or am I right" spoken in the voice of the nerdy insurance salesman "Ned" in Groundhog Day.

America/Obama gets the information that they want, who cares if a bunch of innocent people have to die (Obama -"I am pretty good at killing people.") and more lies per minute have to fly to cover this huge piece of cow manure over.

My response:

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. And the lies include it did not happen, it flew to Viet Nam, It got shot down by the Navy, it got abducted by aliens, it flew into another Bermuda triangle, ANYTHING BUT America stole some Chinese engineers to extract sensitive secrets...

UNQUOTE

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Factors in favour of this theory:

1. Plane was clearly headed in the direction of Diego Garcia after it turned west

2, Credible reports of it travelling westwards for 5 to 7 hours - again in the direction of Diego Garcia

3. Possible sightings over the Maldive Islands - also the right direction

4. Mainstream media bending over backwards and backwards again not to mention Diego Garcia theory or give it any credibility - or activley rubbishing it

5. Jacob Rothschild appears to be part owner of Malaysian Airways

6. Manifestly absurd (IMO) signtings of 24-metre object between Austraila and the Antarctic (!) being given headline news coverage.

Whatever happened, the poor, poor innocent passengers - and the poor, poor relatives.

I hope for some form of justice for them all.

As soon as possible

This video (12 mins) shows the sorry and sinister history of Diego Garcia:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfsYIdqvhg4

This story in today's Daily Mail appears to give 'legs' to the claim that the plane was deliberately flown to Diego Garcia. It's clear now that the pilot deleted material from his flight simulator over a month before flight MH370 and therefore was 'in' on whatever this devious, cruel plan was all about:

A specialist said yesterday that experts will try to retrieve deleted files from pilot's computer. Aviation expert said it was common for pilots to use flight simulators at home to practise landing at some of the most dangerous airports if they have never flown and are unlikely to fly to those destinations, he had done this himself as a challenge.

This man also said that many files are deleted and this is not necessarily sinister, merely to free up space.

I read an expert giving a credible and simple explanation for an accident with the pilot being a hero not a villain.

Will try to find and post it.

It certainly was ! There are a lot of theories posted , only read a few of course, but I noted that CNN want him on to talk and have read contacts from Sky, also BBC, so it seems worthy of debate. Here it is....just copied it when I read your post Dee Coy.

There are a lot of comments , so click on Dee Coy's link to read the lot! Just thought it would be easier to post the text of the theory here in full.

MH370  A different point of view. Pulau Langkawi 13,000 runway.

A lot of speculation about MH370. Terrorism, hijack, meteors. I cannot believe the analysis on CNN - almost disturbing. I tend to look for a more simple explanation of this event.

Loaded 777 departs midnight from Kuala to Beijing. Hot night. Heavy aircraft.  About an hour out across the gulf towards Vietnam the plane goes dark meaning the transponder goes off and secondary radar tracking goes off.

Two days later we hear of reports that Malaysian military radar (which is a primary radar meaning the plane is being tracked by reflection rather than by transponder interrogation response) has tracked the plane on a southwesterly course back across the Malay Peninsula into the straits of Malacca.

When I heard this I immediately brought up Google Earth and I searched for airports in proximity to the track towards southwest.

The left turn is the key here. This was a very experienced senior Captain with 18,000 hours. Maybe some of the younger pilots interviewed on CNN didn't pick up on this left turn. We old pilots were always drilled to always know the closest airport of safe harbor while in cruise. Airports behind us, airports abeam us and airports ahead of us. Always in our head. Always. Because if something happens you don't want to be thinking what are you going to do - you already know what you are going to do. Instinctively when I saw that left turn with a direct heading I knew he was heading for an airport. Actually he was taking a direct route to Palau Langkawi a 13,000 foot strip with an approach over water at night with no obstacles. He did not turn back to Kuala  Lampur because he knew he had 8,000 foot ridges to cross. He knew the terrain was friendlier towards Langkawi and also a shorter distance.

Take a look on Google Earth at this airport. This pilot did all the right things. He was confronted by some major event onboard that made him make that immediate turn back to the closest safe airport.
For me the loss of transponders and communications makes perfect sense if a fire. There was most likely a fire or electrical fire. In the case of fire the first response if to pull all the main busses and restore circuits one by one until you have isolated the bad one.

If they pulled the busses the plane indeed would go silent. It was probably a serious event and they simply were occupied with controlling the plane and trying to fight the fire. Aviate, Navigate and lastly communicate. There are two types of fires. Electrical might not be as fast and furious and there might or might not be incapacitating smoke. However there is the possibility given the timeline that perhaps there was an overheat on one of the front landing gear tires and it blew on takeoff and started slowly burning. Yes this happens with underinflated tires. Remember heavy plane, hot night, sea level, long run takeoff. There was a well known accident in Nigeria of a DC8 that had a landing gear fire on takeoff. A tire fire once going would produce horrific incapacitating smoke. Yes, pilots have access to oxygen masks but this is a no no with fire. Most have access to a smoke hood with a filter but this will only last for a few minutes depending on the smoke level. (I used to carry one of my own in a flight bag and I still carry one in my briefcase today when I fly).

What I think happened is that they were overcome by smoke and the plane just continued on  the heading probably on George (autopilot) until either fuel exhaustion or fire destroyed the control surfaces and it crashed. I said four days ago you will find it along that route - looking elsewhere was pointless.

This pilot, as I say, was a hero struggling with an impossible situation trying to get that plane to Langkawi. No doubt in my mind. That's the reason for the turn and direct route. A hijack would not have made that deliberate left turn with a direct heading for Langkawi. It would probably have weaved around a bit until the hijackers decided on where they were taking it.

Surprisingly none of the reporters , officials, other pilots interviewed have looked at this from the pilot's viewpoint. If something went wrong where would he go? Thanks to Google earth I spotted Langkawi in about 30 seconds, zoomed in and saw how long the runway was and I just instinctively knew this pilot knew this airport. He had probably flown there many times. I guess we will eventually find out when you help me spread this theory on the net and some reporters finally take a look on Google earth and put 2 and 2 together. Also a look at the age and number of cycles on those nose tires might give us a good clue too.

Fire in an aircraft demands one thing - you get the machine on the ground as soon as possible. There are two well remembered experiences in my memory. The AirCanada DC9 which landed I believe in Columbus Ohio in the eighties. That pilot delayed descent and bypassed several airports.   He didn't instinctively know the closest airports. He got it on the ground eventually but lost 30 odd souls.   In the 1998 crash of Swissair DC-10 off Nova Scotia was another example of heroic pilots. They were 15 minutes out of Halifax but the fire simply  overcame them and they had to ditch in the ocean. Just ran out of time. That fire incidentally started when the aircraft was about an hour out of Kennedy. Guess what the transponders and communications were shut off as they pulled the busses.

Get on Google Earth and type in Pulau Langkawi  and then look at it in relation to the radar track heading. 2+2=4  That for me is the  simple explanation why it turned and headed  in that direction.

Smart pilot. Just didn't have the time.

If you are reading this the first time please read the two further comments containing corrections and additions to the above in the string of the comments below
Thank you.

P. S. Prediction re Channel 5 tonight:

If Diego Garcia is mentioned at all, it will be to rubbish any claims that this operation was pre-planned weeks, if not months ago (despite all the evidence we now have of pre-planning), and any question of this being an operation to take Chinese electronic communciations aviation experts into custody there [i.e. Freescale staff] will be laughed off, if mentioned at all.

The difference being that the man giving a balanced opinion admitted the possible sinister aspect of file deletion but was impartial and as an expert had no vested interest in promoting either theory re the files having been wiped.
 Unlike the McCanns.

REPLY: There is zero actual evidence for this theory, and in any event it is wholly contradicted by the satellite information that shows the plane having flown westwards for about 5 hours after altering its flight path. The sequence of events suggests that the pilot was fully in control when he turned the transponder etc. off.  Several question marks surround the pilot, Mr Khan.

I do not know who Chris Goodfellow is and whether he has any agenda or special interest in promoting his speculations

You might find the responses from experienced pilots to Mr Goodfellow interesting, Tony. The comments are a worthwhile read, because there is a good lively debate.

The jury is out for me at the moment, but I tend to think of something simple before I think conspiracy.

And so do I.

BUT...

Quote:

It has now emerged that the airplane's Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (Acars) system was deliberately turned off, yet the Boeing 777 plane still continued to send out "pings" to Inmarsat's satellite for seven hours after it lost contact.

The pings are small bursts of data which are sent out by the satellite network to the plane every hour to check if it is still on the network, and according to Inmarsat, Flight MH370 sent out seven hourly pings in response to the network's request.

"When the plane was still missing on Sunday (the day after it disappeared), our engineers looked at the network data and realised that the plane had been sending signals," Inmarsat Senior Vice President Chris McLaughlin told IBTimes UK.

"We couldn't say what direction it had gone in, but the plane wasn't standing still because the signals were getting longer, i.e. further in distance from our satellite."

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/malaysia-ai...pgrade-1441174

AND:

"Fears grew that the Boeing 777 flew towards a secretive US airbase leased from Britain on the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean."

sorry Tony but what point are you making?

You clearly disagree with CG unlike me, who has no firm opinion either way, but I do not understand your last post.

I have read a lot of the DG stuff which I find interesting and plausible. Some suggest a safe landing to extract info from certain passengers or to remove cargo, passengers were alive then on returning to China there was an accident or plane shot down by military aircraft.

Not many of the DG theories have passengers still alive.

I am surprised to see you give credence to a tabloid which will print any sensational tripe to get sales ! I might take more notice of this headline if it were in a decent respected newspaper.

REPLY: OK, brief response, the information I posted was from Inmarsat, a satellite company, which tells us categorically (and supports several other lines of evidence) two important things: 1. The transponder was switched off deliberately, not accidentally, and 2.The plane kept on flying for several hours. Neither of these two facts supports CG's 'It just caught fire' theory.

REPLY: I tend to agree that quoting a Daily Star headline seems like 'scraping the barrel'. However, it tends to emphasise how the mainstream media are generally avoiding what is a theory that has rapidly gained ground in recent days on many internet sites. As with the Madeleine McCann case, one tends naturally to look for the simplest explanation, or the 'Occam's Razor' principle, but IMO both disappearances - Madeleine and the plane - seem to suggest something much, much deeper.

Hope that clarifies.

And whatever happened, utmost sympathy for all those on board and all the surviving relatives. If I'd have been a relative of someone on board, I would probably have been at the throats of the Malaysian airline and government officlals.
