Did the mother pop her head into his room when she went to bed later?

I don't want to hear a bloody word from McCanns, Mitchell on this, right now!

Hope he's found PDQ.

I  wondered the same Jeanmonroe. She may though have gone to bed at the same time. Just speculation on my part.

missing from bed this morning when she woke up.

in home last night.... mum and his 4 siblings including his twin [ sister I think]

Doll, are you aware that the statements made by an ex cop are exactly the same procedures followed by the PJ as mentioned by GA in his book? If so does it mean that there is still a bungling alcholic overwhelmed Police service in Edinburgh?
I hope the child is found safe and well, strangers do not walk in off the street , steal children from their beds then leave without a trace.

I see they have his photo out there straight away.

Not, i notice, a photo of him when he was much younger. (cuter, cutesy, who no one, even those close to him, would recognise)

Unlike McCanns who did not 'release' LAST photo' of Madeleine  (pool) ( which was supposedly' on KM's camera just hours before she went 'missing') until 3 WEEKS later, after GM had returned from UK.

Still don't understand WHY the 'pool' photo which 'was in' KM's camera was NOT released for 3 weeks.

Does anyone have an explanation for WHY the McCanns witheld the 'last' (pool) photo from the public for 3 weeks?

THAT was the the picture of her, people on holiday at the exact same time, would have 'recognised' straight away.

I may be paranoid, but I never slept through one night without checking on my daughter, and I did that until she got married and moved out.  I used to call her name at any hour of the night, and she would answer "Mam, I'm still alive". So how anyone can put a 3 year old child to bed at 9.30 PM and not check again until the next moring, is beyond my comprehension.

We also 'popped' our heads in every time before we went to bed, even though the kids went to bed hours before.

UPSTAIRS flat? NO signs of break in. NO shutters 'smashed'

Hope he's found.

There better not be an 'instant' search 'fund' set up!

The McCanns entire family 'behaviour' has made me that cynical!

Rumblings from the neighbours about "custody issues" according to a reporter asking questions on Sky News. I hope that is the case and the father is looking after him.

many police cars about one mile from the boy's home, so not far away.

might be unconnected of course, other crime and policing going on.... Peter Kirkham, ex detective.

No descriptions of the 'man' detained but I would suggest that as its only 5 hours since he was first reported missing that its more than likely that the man detained is the dad. No way police could have tracked down a 'stranger' in the timescale

If I heard correctly..........Sky presenter says it looks increasingly that the events re arresting of man were unconnected.

That'll explain why the latest news reports just dropped off the breaking news sites

I DON'T WANT TO BE SEEN AS A 'BOSSY BOOTS' BUT COULD WE PLEASE 'REPORT' ONLY GIVEN FACTUAL STATEMENTS FROM MEDIA/POLICE SOURCES RATHER THAN 'SPECULATION.'

THANKYOU.

3-year old wont go out alone at 9.pm on cold and dark night.
Summer maybe, but winter no way.

Watch the family.
If no sign of break in, Police should get forensics team and dogs in quickly.

Strangers certainly do. It happened to Madeleine and if you don't believe me, ask Clarence Mitchell.

One of the problems with 24 hour news reporting is that they think they have to fill every minute with unending drivel and repetition.

So true. Just listening to Kay Burley repeating the same stuff over & over again.

Sky News: POLICE EXAMINING POTENTIAL SECOND CRIME SCENE

Looks like they're acting on intelligence. Please let him be found soon.
