Madeleine back in UK

Post by mysterion on 03.02.14 15:23

Speaking to a friend today about the case and she has a theory that Madeleine was brought back to the UK through customs on a "wave through customs" principle offered to VIP's. Never heard this theory on this forum and very much doubt its credibility.

I find this "theory" so ludicrous. No way would they have brought a 4 month decayed body through customs. Why would they? If someone wanted to get away with a crime, they aren't going to carry the very thing that will incriminate them. The body of the little girl is well hidden, somewhere in Portugal, IMO

In my opinion, if Madeleine's body did make it back to the UK then it was in an urn. That's a big 'if' though, I'm not convinced at all that she did come back. Reasons for thinking this are that attempting it would be risky, and Kate's talk of 'wanting to be near Madeleine' on one of her trips to Portugal.

What was she brought back in?  A blue sports bag of the type a tennis racket couldn't be hidden in?  Or a large inflatable contraption?

I sincerely hope this isn't another 'theory' which is going to cause this forum to be ridiculed by the pros on twitter and elsewhere.

After the recent debacle, IMO there's a case to be made for theories which are completely divorced from the known facts to be tested in the Members Lounge before being launched onto those sections of this forum which can be viewed by guests and casual viewers.

I agree to an extent, but why even give those other places the time of day? This is the only forum I read on this subject, unless following up links found in odd Google searches. To worry about what the pro McCann sites say, well their entire premise is garbage so it's little wonder that individual topics or posts are rubbish. Also why would they be so interested in what is said here? Haven't they got anything else to talk about?

Speaking of crackpot theories, I think I'm probably the only person to have speculated that Maddie died in the UK and her body was brought into Portugal under the auspices of the inflatable billboard... Whichever way you look at it, that whole billboard stunt was a pretty bizarre chain of events, and I'm not convinced it isn't unconnected with goings on at the mysterious barn. Certainly occurred at around a similar point in proceedings.

The billboard's been done to death Clay. Imo there is nothing in it. The billboard was heavily promoted so that the money would pour into the coffers. That's why I think there was professional marketing advice.
Cast your mind back to Geldoff and Ethiopian famine, around Christmas 83?
People sold all their furniture, one couple even sold their home I believe, a sure way to make others donate even more. mass psychology.
The billboard people did NOT do it for free, they got paid. Standard fee. Big stunt to get the money rolling in. Professional mass marketing.

I think Maddie never left Portugal although how she got there if you think the airport bus video isn't right, may be open to debate.

Eta: interesting info from Joanna Morais ( copied from forensic linguistics)

Heavily snipped, can be found in McCannfiles.com.

Pilgrimage in Portuguese lands Joana Morais

By Antonieta Janeiro
12/12/2009
Thanks to Joana Morais for translation

They are mistaken those who thought that the famous Doctors McCann were travelling to Portugal to assist the first session of the claim filled against Dr. Gonçalo Amaral regarding the temporary injunction, because of 'insults' made against them in the book 'Maddie, The Truth of the Lie'.
[...]

Besides the frustration of having entered a court for nothing, they mainly felt the frustration of not having anyone waiting for them to give them that superstars status. Quite the contrary!

There was a bunch of red carnations that was offered to them, but whose meaning they did not know – it was the «poisoned chalice».( see http://jillhavern.forumotion.net/t351-red-carnations-for-gerry-mccann)

Visibly tense, uncomfortable and disappointed, they went forward with the «plan B» : A PILGRIMAGE TO THE PAST.

It was, after all, what the McCanns really wanted - MEDIA and PROPAGANDA.
They failed in Lisbon ... they headed to the Algarve!

Unfortunately, that theory that "the killer always returns to the crime scene” seems to apply to them.
They returned to the macabre route of the church and rocks on the beach.

It was very clear heard, at the Courthouse door, the failed act of Kate saying that Maddie was entitled to a decent funeral, «...Madeleine has the right to a proper...uhm... a... a proper ... a proper... search »

God be praised! Where (in this context) the adjective «proper» applies to the noun «search»?!? Are there, by chance, «fitting searches», «decent searches», «due searches »....??????????

If she had hesitated in the adjective «right», «accurate», etc…, before saying 'search', it would be different, especially since she was speaking fluently. She was not looking for an exact adjective to define an idea or concept.

Now, PROPER ??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, later in Aldeia da Luz, she had another slip, stating that it was THERE where she felt closer to Maddie

It matters not one iota to me what the pros are saying, Clay, but IMO longstanding members of this forum - of which I am not one - who have devoted so much of their time to seeking justice for Madeleine McCann deserve considerably more than having their serious minded efforts derided on social media networks by those whose agenda is to continue the deceit and deception surrounding her disappearance.

No matter what is written on this forum there will always be those who are intent on rubbishing its content but, neverthless, I see no reason why they should be given cause for ridicule on a plate, so to speak.

I wonder exactly how many trips back to Portugal Kate has made to be 'near to Madeleine'?

There has been so much emphasis on the "urn" - which isn't an urn - that I'm contemplating - again - it's a diversion ...  yes

Definitely. I only posted the Morais clip because of the sudden enthusiasm for complicated ways to transport a body.
Imo the McCanns themselves do not know exactly where she rests.

It's not an urn - it's a money box where Madeleine's doting parents have saved her Christmas, birthday, and weekly pocket money ... along with all those gifts from family, friends, and well wishers that are stored in her bedroom waiting for her return  yes

Although no camera crews have been allowed access, it's to be hoped AR has been permitted to spend a few quiet moments in hope of another revelation in the place where Madeleine spent her last night in the UK.

I'm not so sure.
Even if they weren't control-freaks, they'd want to know.
IMO it's an abandoned, tiny, off roads, chapel of some sorts.

Please do not consider that I have become totally loopy....but just for the record and for accuracy....the original thread did not say that Maddie was dead when she was rapidly and discretely passed through customs.

In the highly unlikely event that Madeleine came back to the UK it would have in the early days and in one of the private jets belonging to their supporters.

This article from the Daily Mail, three months after Madeleine's disappearance , gives us a great clue as to what happened to Madeleine's body.

Scroll down to where it says Kate would sit on the rocks staring out to the Atlantic.

I know the jury is out with regard to Kate's professed Catholic beliefs but when it comes to cremation the Catholic Church requires that the cremated remains be either buried in the ground in a cemetery or placed in a mausoleum or columbarium, preferably in a Catholic cemetery.

They don't do the take home the urn and look at it routine.

Just read up this, cremation is an option if you die far from home,so it's not an impossibility that this was done

That article should come with a warning - it's puke-making from beginning to end.

Gerry got to meet Laura Bush's dog?  But he didn't get to meet the President or the dog's owner...  Of course he was fired up after his trip - he'd got a new mission; saw himself as becoming the UK/Europe's expert on missing children... a couple of years of that and it would be  'arise Sir Gerry'.   But it didn't work out for him, just as none of his get famous/rich quick schemes have worked out as he planned.  They've all gone bosoms up because he has no people skills and is inherently unlikeable.

As for KM sitting on the rocks by way of a change from necking one on them a la Clement Freud; I'm inclining to the view that's no more than window dressing designed to support the Smithman sighting - the man who could have been heading towards the beach... or the church, or the ruined house, or the Roman ruins etc etc.

Curious how Mr Phil, creator of swamp snuff art was kept under wraps.  If his penchant for pictures of scantily clad nubile young females fighting for their lives hadn't come to the fore, we might never have known that clan McCann harbours an artist of such a per diverse genre who may be familiar with the terrain outside of Huelva.
