Things TM have said nonchalantly - for what purpose?

Post by Woofer on 21.01.14 11:54

Transferred from 3 Prime Suspects Identified thread.

Woofer wrote:It would be good to have a thread purely for "things the Mcs want known, and why".  For example :-

1. Madeleine asked on the Thursday morning `why didn`t you come when Sean and I were crying`

2. Sean eating sea bass

3. Kate bitten by dog

4. The tea stain on Madeleine`s pyjamas
Good idea, I would like to add -
5. The drunk man they picked up on the way home one night.

I don't think the McCs ever say anything 'nonchalantly'. Their comments, in my opinion, are to explain or retro-fit anything that 'might or might not be found' . Copyright Clarence!

1 - to prove M was alive that morning? Or to plant the idea that an abduction rehearsal had happened.
2 - supposedly to explain dogs' findings, although we know that the cadaver dogs don't alert to food remains.
3 - to explain any blood traces found on KM's pants/trainers?
4 - who knows what stain she was trying to explain,
5 - in case they were spotted going into another apartment in PdL?

But then I'm a cynical old woman who's been reading this sort of tripe for over 6 years now.

And the purpose of this one obviously relates to - "the last photo".

@ Penfold.  I used the word `nonchalantly` because they say these things as if they`re just dropping them in casually, in passing.  Of course we all know its by design to retro-fit ..... for a specific reason. In my opinion of course.

Philomena McCann when she was referring to the markers on the wall behind the sofa.

No way!

So it was a team of aerobatic formation flying kamikaze mosquitos that were responsible for that then?

That's a brilliant deduction. Pass it on to SY immediately.  winkwink

The reason for the black and white check trousers having 'the smell of death' on them... that their owner had certified several deaths just prior to going on hliday... or is that a forum myth, folks?

MM playing with her engagement ring...... Did she drop it, I wonder?
MM liking Harry Potter stories and watching Dr Who, of which she had favourite episodes,,,,,,, As all children of three do.
The unmentionables scrolling through her head on Day 10.
The Gap clothing detail and sandals........Sandals looked circa 1970's and could have been Kate's.
The walking and following MM with her eyes. Had someone else been doing the same?
Someone had been watching us.... you're right there was only a small window of opportunity then... clunk.(to Jon Corner)
She looked so gorgeous, I ran back to the apartment to get my camera and took the photograph that is now famous all over the world, of MM holding the tennis balls. (Must have collided with others rushing for their cameras)
MM so pale and sleepy she had to be carried to the apartment......famously leaving her to go out.
MM reputedly saying she'd had the best day ever....even though she was so pale and tired that she'd been carried home and at bedtime was asleep in seconds.
Buying some sunglasses on an overcast day at a beach market wrongly described.
The taking MM and twins to beach on a dreary day,,, after finishing an ice cream, asking "Can I go back to creche now?"
(Of the "last photo") It was a fun time. A particularly fun time". (Crimewatch)
Kirsty Young reprises GM's remark about the younger the child, the more likely its return.
GM on voiceover CW about the state of the bedroom as they pulled the door to "So it was nice and dark in ther" Hmm but not dark enough for the proud fatherly moment when he thought how beautiful she looked. Hmm again.
Of the T7 on beach without telling them, and wondering if MM would be upset that E had been taken out for this treat.
Waving to the T7 on beach during her jog and them waving back, joking "At least, I think they were waving."
Re Mrs Fenn's supposed attitude} as if a can of beans had fallen off a shelf.
Checking the twins for breathing by placing a finger under their noses, wondering if the abductor had drugged them..... an anaesthetist talking here!!

Loads more where this came from. If you stitched all the red flags end to end they would girdle the earth and tie SY up in several more securing half-hitches with enough for a pretty bow on the top.

Kate McCann speaking of her actions upon finding Maddie whooshed, claims she went over to the opened/gemmied window and looked out, and then goes on to say in a flippant 'silly me' manner.... "I don't know what I thought I would see but...."

FFS how about a man carrying off your 3 year old daughter

The coloboma that was no more than 'a good marketing ploy.' She simply cannot have had one, or it would have been on her passport in addition to the brown mark on her leg. However minimal in medical effect, a coloboma NEVER just disappears, as it is a permanent minor congental defect:a gap in the iris and an extension of the pupil across it. My friend has one, and though small, it is totally distinctive. I have never seen a report of Gerry McCann saying Madeleine had a coloboma. He would certainly know it could not merely turn into 'a fleck'. Others, quite understandably, made the assumption that it was the cause of a black mark across her eye.

"They've taken her!"

Being bitten by a dog while jogging in "new pink trainers."

Trip to the supermarket with Jane.

"Our last happy day as a family."

Madeleine was "almost perfect" at birth.
