I'm probably of the same thoughts as you although it hasn't been stated that the witness saw the little boy alone at 4am.

Presumably if he was "wandering" he would have been alone.

The comment seems to have come from the family's pastor and not from the police.

Let's hope that the truth comes out but, whatever it is, it won't bring this poor lad back.

The difference is that his body has been found.

I'm still thinking that this could be a genuine accident.
