Sorry to be a pedant but Kate McCann doesn't come from Glasgow.

Being a Scot, I even like to think of Gerry McCann as Irish but I have to admit that he was brought up in Glasgow.

Anyway, the limerick still works if it is changed to:

A Liver bird and a Scotsman from Glasgow
Had a young daughter we all know...

I have googled but cannot find out what the Scottish Ministers' decision was regading the OP. Seems a long time for them to make a decision. Anyone Scottish posters know anything about it?
