The Poll results – and the betting – on who would be ‘The fake suspect’
Wendy Murphy spoke four days ago about a ‘fake suspect’ to be produced tonight by DCI Andy Redwood.
A poll on the most likely candidate for this ‘fake suspect’ was run for six days here, with everybody having voted before all the drip-drip-drip ‘revelations’ about the programme over the past few days.
Here are the results, framed in terms of what the odds would have been if anyone was taking bets on the programme:
100-30 A composite of one or more of those below (13 votes)
4-1 A bloke who looks like Raymond Hewlett (10 votes)
7-1 Someone entirely new (‘Jigsaw Man’ – a ‘missing piece of the jigsaw’) (6 votes)
10-1 A rehash of some other previous 'sighting' (4 votes)
14-1 A rehash of 'man-hiding-under-the-stairs' man (3 votes)
14-1 A rehash of Carol Tranmer man (3 votes)
50-1 A rehash of ‘Smith man’ (1 vote)
50-1 A rehash of ‘Tanner man’ (1 vote)
50-1 A rehash of Yellow T-shirt and sunglassess man (1 vote)
100-1 A rehash of Cooperman/monsterman (0 votes)
