I put a link to the Wendy Murphy interview on Goncalo Amaral's Facebook page. Not only has he liked it, he has written a long reply! Unfortunately, in Portuguese, so hope someone can translate it!

Oh dear, it seems to be a translation of the interview, but at least Goncalo has seen it, and it is a fantastic tool to counter the Crimewatch b/s that we are about to be bombarded with.

He does at least say 'Wise Words' - which indeed they are.

No, his page is not open, you have to be on his friends list. I can see that Joana Morais is a mutual friend, but I can't see any info on his page

Some has translated for me in a pm. The reply Goncalo has put up says 'Wise Words', then it is a transcript of the Fox interview. Apologies, I got a bit carried away.

The media are now allowing comments and very few are favourable to the McCanns, if only to berate them for leaving the children alone while they went to a bar, so Kate's We did nothing wrong comment is not going to go down too well, on the basis that if they hadn't left the children on their own, then no "abduction" could have taken place, so large sections of the public will be blaming the McCanns.

Furthermore, many people are sick to the back teeth of the McCanns and are angry about the amount of money being spent on the case, that was ultimately sparked by the parents own neglect, and at a time of austerity when many people are struggling, the sight of the McCanns jetting off to another foreign location and being feted on the sofas of daytime tv is totally galling to many right minded people, especially as there are many other missing people who have not had a fraction of the publicity the McCanns have had.

So ultimately it doesn't matter if the BBC and SY try to make the McCanns into saints, the public are not buying it and more than ever now, people are becoming more vocal, just like the American lawyer on Fox news and to have such a tidal wave of public opinion against you is not good for the BBC or SY and of course as these are publicly funded bodies, may well find themselves having to answer some serious questions as they both have had to in recent times. And as for the McCanns, they'll never get what they hope for, total exoneration, because very few people believe them and that for the McCanns and their narcissistic tendencies is probably the worst thing ever imo
