Lets all face it,crimewatch is just going to be a huge waste of our time on monday night. The stage has been set and we all know whats coming,we have seen the previews.Lets not get excited about a "Revelation" as im sure it wont be anything that we dont already know, for reasons already stated.IMHO the only chance of a real revelation will be from snr amaral if he makes it to the dock in the libel trial.

Monday night i have decided to have my poker buddies over for a game on the patio,if i watch K violin MCC on tv i shall probably choke on my san miguel and tapas if i have to see that woe is me look on her mug again!

It will be the suspicious character who was collecting for a non-existant orphanage.  I think he was the scruffy one with the long hair.

The problem with that is that he isn't a "new" suspect, his face has been all over the press, and I'm sure they tried to tie him to Hewlett based on a picture of him that had been taken about 15 years prior to 2007 and of course, Hewlett is not a "new" suspect either, he too has been splashed all over the tabloids.

In fact all of the "suspects" have been splashed all over the media, so they really do have to come up with a new one.  Though it would be awesome if they used the Gerry McCann or Russell O'Brien lookalikes lol

That says it all- " gone into that apartment and taken a little girl"- Come on the "Great Scotland Yard"- NOT.  Do the right thing - interrogate these people.

No PARENT would say that. Her name in case you have forgotten it was MADELEINE YOUR DAUGHTER. No loving mum or dad would be so cold or distant
.

That is exactly what I thought too morse!  Very distant and cold, referring to 'the situation', keeping emotions intact. Perhaps she was being honest though, as in, she was referring to the reconstruction, that way she wouldn't slip up!  Seeing as the whole thing is about what happened to Madeleine, again KM refers FIRST to herself 'we've done nothinkk wrong 'ere', it's about what happened to a little girl.

Very similar to what she said at the start of the trial.......' at the bottom of all of this, is a little girl...'.   Very distant, detached and cold and perhaps something of interest from a forensics linguistics point of view?

UP S.Y. !!, sorry meant Upsy..............

The George Harrison lookalike?  Is he Cooperman? (There's so many of these extras with walk-on parts flitting through, I lose track).

Do you mean the one who was collecting children for a non-existent orphanage or the one who was given a 10e donation by the holidaymaker who occupied 5A immediately prior to the arrival of Praia de Luz's worst nightmare the McCanns, Mary?

@Woofer wrote:I could be wrong but I can`t ever see them being brought to trial by jury.  There can`t be any eligible jury members in UK that don`t have a strong opinion on this couple. Not sure if Portugal have the jury system.

However, even if they`re never called to court, they will always have the reputation which, ironically, they`ve striven hard to slough off.  They will go down in history alongside the Ramsays and the Anthonys. It will permeate to all their family and associates.IMO.
Section 7 of the Sex Offenders Act 1997 as amended by Section 72 of the Sex Offenders Act 2003 extended the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales and Northern Ireland to cover certain sexual offences committed abroad.

When I read that within a very short time of Madeleine's disappearance the McCanns consulted English lawyers who specialise in extradition proceedings, I wondered whether they had concern about being extradited to the UK which led me to speculate about what offences, other than child abuse and neglect for which there was no prospect of extradition, they may have committed in Portugal.

I can think of very few circumstances which would necessitate the parent(s) of a child who is purported to have been abducted by person(s) unknown to them to have need of the services of lawyers in respect of that child's disappearance, and more particularly at a time when I would have thought they had more pressing matters on their mind(s) but, as has been clearly demonstrated, the McCanns' behaviour is markedly different to that of the majority of parents worldwide.
Ah ... thanks ultimaThule .... interesting indeed.

So what you`re saying is that this Act permits the arrest of UK citizens who have committed a sexual offence abroad.

I always wondered why they engaged extradition lawyers and hadn`t twigged that it was still whilst they were in Portugal.  My thinking was that they hired such lawyers on return to UK to prevent extradition back to Portugal.

So, as you say, one could conclude they were worried about being brought to book in the UK for a sexual offence committed abroad.

Hallelujah I've had a revelation moment [waves hands gospel stylee]

Gezza lent his faux Savile Row suit to Andy so he can look as if he knows what he's doing smart for his appearance on the K&G show Crimwatch and Andy lent his Met issue trousers to Gezza so he can look as if he isn't worried about the libel trial/depleted Fund/prospect of arrest etc unconcernedly casual for his and St K8's cosy chat with Kirsty.

A full length shot of Andy will reveal he's wearing what appear to be St K8's cropped trousers and a pair of her sandals with his regulation navy blue socks.  What it won't show is the knotted hanky he often wears on his head during his holiday business trips to Portugal yes

Pink lining, lj?  It looks flashy crimson or scarlet on my screen but maybe ultra alpha male Gezza is in touch with his gay feminine side.  Shall we settle for cerise?
laughat

I see pink at the bottom of everything in this case.

Please give a link to Andy with Kate's pants and sandals, I need a good laugh.....

I wonder would Eddie's successor alarm on that too??

The above photo of marital happiness and joy was taken while they were away staying in Holland for a few days promoting Kate's book...

...while the twins...

...were being looked after yet again by somebody else...

Well, Tony, that does make a change from NOT looked after by somebody else!

Personally I feel that the farther away the twins are from their parents, the better for them.

I respect the views of those who think that Kate appears to be genuinely distraught at times but for me it's a bit of a crying wolf situation.

She and Gerry have proved that they can switch from grief-stricken to falling about laughing within seconds.

I am certainly not a callous person who thinks that everyone who appears to be heartbroken is extracting the urine, but nothing that the McCanns say or do can be believed.

That video clip with the feet is a bit worrying, it can't be the Smith sighting because it isn't a child being carried against the shoulder but rather Tanner style across the arms and, as someone said already, it's the wrong way round. If it's carelessness it isn't good, but neither is it good if it's a deliberate alteration from the witness statement.

I really hope Redwood's 'revelation' isn't going to turn out to be that someone must have passed MM to another person through the window.

Photo 1, looks as though she hasn't washed or combed her hair and the sad, drained face easily achieved as others have said.    No sign of the"hot lips healy" look here.

These images MUSt be put out over every medium we can access.
Every blog site,
Every face-thing-tweet (- I have no idea what any of that actually MEANS !)

But the photos, with their date and provenance MUST be seen
I am sure that Dr Gonçalo Amaral already has them, along with the other smiling Kate Photos
