Did this man retain his daughter's pyjamas from that night? If so, what reason did he give for doing so? Was he aware that he was the man of Jane Tanner's description that night. If so, why did he wait 6.5 years before coming forward?

It's possible that the pyjamas could have been handed down to a younger child but I think that this man is as likely to exist as the one in the moon!

My question is - how do you manage to keep a straight face when you come out with stories like this?

He not only retained the pyjamas, he could remember the exact pair the child wore that night.  He also, luckily, could remember exactly what he himself wore and has also retained those clothes.

Such a great memory and hoarder of clothes, yet he did not recognise himself or see/hear anything about Tannerman, until Andy Redwood tracked him down.

Have the Tapas 9 been allowed to trawl through their last statements like they did at Leicester Police HQ, changing all the bits that cast doubt on them as truthful witnesses?

Do you look at the Findmadeleine website?

If so , have you any opinion to offer on why an appeal for information on 'Tannerman' is still on the website?

Has David Payne, his wife, and/or his mother-in-law, been arrested in connection with this or another case?

If so, given that they've no doubt been informed they are not to discuss their case(s) with anyone except their legal adviser(s), what assurance do you have that they won't tell, or haven't told, the McCanns?

If not, why were the names of 'the three remaining people' who joined the table in the Tapas on the night of 3 May 2007 not mentioned during the filmed 'reconstruction'?

Or is it that omitting their names from the filmed account is evidence of your good faith which has, in turn, ensured their complete and confidential co-operation with the ongoing investigation?

When Kate says " we let her down " do you include yourself and your elite team in this ?

if at some stage in your career your included in a ' Honours list ' ( stifles laughter ) do you intend to politely refuse ?

Are you desperately hanging on to the shirt tails of the PJ and waiting to hear what Dr Amoral's knockout blow may be ?

Is there any remaining DNA evidence left intact from the debacle at the forensic lab in Birmingham ?

Is Gerry McCann without doubt the biological father of the little girl pictured collecting tennis balls ?

How frustrated were you when, despite your commendable determination to draw everything back to zero, assuming nothing, the Crimewatch presenter went and introduced their programme by stating that Madeleine 'was abducted' from the apartment?  Did you remind them that this take on the case was not 'drawing everything back to zero' or 'assuming nothing'.

Good question. "Drawing everything backto zero" to me means asking questions about what the parents and their friends were doing in PDL What they were told  by holiday reps about security.
(When we were last on the Algarve, the holiday rep warned us about leaving windows and doors locked. She blamed "gypsies" but we knew what she meant).

With regard to drawing back everything to zero and assuming nothing, I would also like to ask Andy Redwood the following questions:

  • whether he has established for certain that all the photographs presented to the PJ and the public of Madeleine are genuinely of Madeleine, and

  • whether he has established through the use of professional photographers, it and graphic design experts, for certain, that none have been photoshopped or modified at any time since the date of her disappearance

  • whether he is completely satisfied that none of those photographs when blown up reveal bruises.

If his answers to any of the above are less than 100% yes, then he needs to investigate further.

Why did the Tanner man (now just an innocent father carrying his sleeping child, we are told ) take 6 years to come forward.  What was his explanation? What did he say?

Because usually in other cases it would have been all over the newspapers by now.

This is getting really boring, going on for such a long time and they're getting richer.

Following on from this statement, the questions I would ask DCI Redwood are:

Do you think crime pays?

Do you think the McCanns are showing people how to get away with a heinous crime and get rich at the same time?

'burglars'

Post by worriedmum on 11.01.14 23:51

There are reports that three 'burglars' are now prime suspects in Madeleine's disappearance.
Do you think that they entered by the patio doors? Are you surprised that the local police did not consider this possibility?  Are you surprised that no-one saw three suspicious people at the time?
