I think the reason the McCanns use inappropriate words is simply because they have not lived any of the moments they are describing, if they had the words would come easily no thought would be needed.

Yes Kate she should be here, and would be if you and your husband hadn't neglected your three very young children to go out and enjoy yourself's with your friends. Such selfishness putting your friends, a meal, and a few bottles of wine before the safety and well being of your children.

So we're told the family feels wonderful to gather and to celebrate her birthday after six years of her absence, while she's still in the clutches of paedo***** . Makes you wonder did the family not gather together for previous birthday?

Why flowers for this birthday particularly, why not before? What's special about this birthday over the others? Birthday is a yearly thing. Generally, flowers are used for remembrance of departed loved ones. Flowers for celebration is for joyous occasion only if the person is present and can enjoy the flowers, or for somber occasion if the person is dead, hence remembrance.

That woman is making a statement when she told the whole world about this "low key" event. It turns out to be another one of her wtf actions that is senseless.

I think that a time of quiet reflection would be more appropriate in such circumstances.

Yes I for one find the words "celebrate" and "wonderful' quite shocking

I am waiting for a trial without body, but substantiated by discrepancies and dogs evidence.
