Does anyone know if the PJ allowed requests for info via Madeleines website?

??

I was looking at the wayback machine for the official madeleine website from mid may 2007 and they were asking people to send in information to them
ETA sorry, late May

Also note that Madeleines right eye was promoted, not as if nothing much was made of it!

Did they not request photos to be sent to them ? I guess if any "interesting" pics were sent direct to them they would of course send them to the PJ ...err wouldn't they?

Thanks for the reply Trainer. IIRC they went on an Irish programme early 2007 and asked for photos to be uploaded to CEOP. However, they have made direct appeal to the public, saying even if they had been to the police to send them the information directly to them via their website or private investigators hotline. This is while they were arguidos as well, which makes the mind boggle as they were given BBC airtime to do this! on one occasion. To befair to the BBC they were duped into thinking their private hotline number was actually a police number!
