I've seen parts of it before, but this is very interesting, despite the wrong information given from time to time.

What struck me very much is the hunky Father Hubbard. The way he spoke as well, imo there is more to the man than is apparent and I've always felt his timely arrival in PdL was not entirely due to luck. He also managed to keep God out of it entirely whilst the McCanns are clearly incredibly religious people.

Imo he was more like a PR man than Clarrie. spin

Very interesting and straightforward report. The earlier days were certainly better for information.
Two observations:
What is the big black bag that Matt Oldfield is carrying from 9.56 to 10.12 and what is the big bag that Gerry is throwing into the boot of the Renault hire car from 17.04 to 17.23.
The Matt Oldfield bag, does it look like the one that was photographed in the cupboard in the McCann's apartment. I don't have access to that P.J. police photo.

One more inaccuracy: 'well presented, articulate people' - meaning the McCanns.

I only found this documentary recently. Very interesting and a lot more balanced than a lot of the things in the media now. When watching the bit about the tourists searching on the beach I had an awful thought. She mentioned that she had looked in bins and that there were loads of the big bins all over praia de luz and the voice over said that the bins were picked up as normal the following day. You don't think she might have been dumped in a bin that wasn't searched and is now in a landfill sight hence the smelly binman sightings which, if SY is whitewashing, would neatly tie up the case if th ey had somehow got knowledge of where a body was.

"Oh we found a body in the landfill sight, it must have been the smelly binman, oh he's also now conveniently dead and has no family to defend his name! Case closed, let go home and get back to stitching up the british public instead."

It's clear that forensic evidence is not enough in a court of law, detectives need hard evidence to go to court, let's hope something is found. If not poor Madeleine, then at least the blue bag.

I was thinking the same thing. He made this vid. he even walked 80 paces and said something like the apartment could not easily be seen from the tapas bar and that it was dark - then added, (along the lines of) not quite how Gerry McCann described it.

So if you are a journalist or a nearly Pullizer prize winner you can comment, but others cannot?

if Martin Brunt is tweeting again, maybe some-one on Twitter could ask him if his views have changed sine he reported this as fact?
