Good idea PeterMac and monkey mind

I would like to know why Mr Birch is in effect ignoring the cadaver dog alerts in the car that was hired some 25 days after.

I would like to see evidence that it was indeed in Casa Liliana that Birch used his machine.

I would like to know why Mr Birch thinks the body was buried on 3rd May. I am also curious to know what suggests that the new concrete path dates from that date.

Thank you

I would like to know if Mr Birch trully believes that by taking things into his own hands in such a covert way and announced his findings publicly (at Lisbon airport just as he was leaving) and arming himself with top-notch law firms he has helped to find justice for Madeleine. Actually, I want to know why he chose to do things in this manner.

What I want to know is, if a body was really buried on Murat's property on the night of the 3rd May, how did the Portuguese police fail to find it when they dug up his garden, and how did the sniffer dog fail to alert?

In your video interview at http://expresso.sapo.pt/conheca-o-sul-africano-que-diz-ter-descoberto-restos-mortais-de-maddie=f737713

You say that you drew up maps to determine time and distance. Any person whether an abductor or otherwise could have made off in any direction by any means. What specifically in your map overlays led you to RM’s mother’s house?

You said ““I agree with Mr Amaral who put tremendous effort into this case, that Madeleine’s body went into the ground that same evening, in other words I don’t believe that Madeleine’s body was transported in a hire vehicle 23 days later....”

Where has Mr Amaral said that Madeleine’s body went into the ground that same evening?

As far as I am aware Amaral has indicated that a possibly once frozen body was transported in the back of the hire car. You do not believe that Maddie was transported in that car so how do you explain the evidence of the dogs?

You go on to state as if fact ““...Madeleine died on the 3rd of May 2007 and on that same evening her body went into the ground.....”

What time do you conclude that she died?

These are important questions because when something is stated with confidence, as fact, many people tend to believe it. From the above someone could easily think that Amaral belives that her body was never in the hire car, that she died and was buried that night. To my knowledge this is completely incorrect, please set the record straight one way or the other.

A year or so ago, around the time you say you became interested in this case, a member of this forum received communication from a psychic stating they believed M’s body to be in virtually the same location later discovered by you. The alleged psychic was purportedly from SA. Do you know anything of that psychic or that letter?

Mr Birch, you quote two law firms you have engaged to represent you. Will you be instructing them to release public proof of that?

Do you know or have you ever been associated with a South African alleged private investigator by the name of Martin van wyk, any of his family or the psychic whom he has been acquainted with in relation to this case?

1. Is your sole motive for involving yourself to the extent you claim, establishing the truth about what happened to Madeleine McCann?

2. You express enormous interest in this case and claim to have researched a huge amount of documentation. What was the one thing, the catalyst, that prompted you to travel and investigate in the area where events unfolded?

Why did you take over 15 months to break this story?

Who reported your findings to the press, and when?

Did you report your suspicions to the police? If so, when?

Have you received any payment for your story?

Did you really enter Roberts Murat property?

Why did you hurry back to South Africa before breaking the story?

Have you any connection to the McCanns, Murat or the media?

How did you travel from to PDL with your radar equipment and your assistants and carry out your tests without anyone even being a tad curious ?

Did you consider the impact of the publicity of your "findings " ?

And just a personal niggle I do not like the phrase "put in the ground"

This radio interview may answer some of the questions! Beware, as it comes via Bren's blog, there are comments from her (and the charmless Anna Raccoon) at the end of it.

I'm sure if Mr. Birch is a genuine gentleman he must be chomping at the bit to answer some of these questions, I know I would be.

Since Mr Birch is online I would like to offer him the right to reply to this piece by Francisco Moita Flores.

Welcome to the forum - Please could we have your comments on this Mr Birch

The news was still hot when suddenly a South African businessman, I imagine with the help of a device of his creation, searched the terrain of the only suspect that the PJ had an eye on and assured that the girl was buried there, in that very specific spot, inasmuch as his machine is so perfectly rigorous. So much so, that it does not even warrant animal bones or another human being. It must be Maddie. The device says everything. And then it came, the version of the death, amongst the screams of indignant outrage of the suspect and the child's parents demanding for more excavations in the garden.

It is known, no one could have failed noticing as the investigations were accompanied by a massive world-wide media circus, that the garden was thoroughly scrutinized for several days by Portuguese forensic scientists, who found nothing.

Well, Mr Birch has logged off again, so it seems he is prepared to offer his story and interviews to the media and all the publicity but doesn't seem to want to come here to discuss the case.

There wasn't much media uptake in UK. Madeleine isn't of high media interest in South Africa - the Dewani case is (well was) much more publicised - hence the need for the radio interviewer on Cape-talk to explain the Madeleine case. The UK press haven't taken much notice and now there is someone who may or may not be Stephen Birch on this forum who has said nothing.

It might be an idea if we now gave this hoax the lack of attention it deserves, unlike the pro forum who are so apoplectic about his behaviour that they are devoting an enormous amount of time and energy ranting about it all.

Perhaps this is why Birch's announcement got little press coverage here in the UK though. Wouldn't look good if a body was discovered and Kate was announced as ambassador the next day.
