Cameron's daughter left at pub.

Well, it seems the McCanns are not alone in their lax parenting standards.

Wonder if the Cameron's will be reported to social services?

(sorry mods - probably in the wrong place - would you move it for me please?)

Some differences here.
• It was a mistake not a deliberate act.
• They were mortified and took immediate action
• She was left for 15 minutes
• She was in the presence of other adults who were looking after her

and so on.

This incident apparently happened a couple of months ago and I wonder how the press has suddenly got hold of it now.

Yes I agree that the Camerons aren't yet following the McCann handbook of child care!

Heard this on r4 this morning. Strange, I thought responsible parenting was to leave all your children alone in a dark apartment several nights on the run whilst you Got into your friends and muchos vino in a lawless third world country on the med with no navy. Not 15 mins away in savage Nuckinghamshire. Can Cam and Sam not get this right even? At. Least they realised, were distraught and Got her back. Did they physically search.? Not a fan of Thatcheron...sorry Cameron, but at least. He does seem to have family values. A salutory note for certain parents...LOOK AFTER THEM PROPERLY....

There were several severe problems with the Blair children, Euan, and one of the daughters. The daughters' troubles were kept well out of the press but Euan ended up in the gutter, drunk or at any rate not very capable. So did the press tear into the Blair family on that account?
The Blairs who also had that ridiculous episode with the alternative woman Caplin? An interview with Cherie sitting on the conjugal bed in Nr. 10/11, talking about her life.

It's quite unfair imo, pitching into the Cameron family. Hitting below the belt. Something like that can happen when there are two cars and a large party. Enterprising little girl, helping the staff is all I can say.

HORRIFIED David Cameron got home from a Sunday lunch with family and friends — and discovered he had left his eight-year-old daughter in the pub.

He dashed back and found little Nancy with staff at the Plough Inn in Cadsden, Bucks.

No 10 said: “The PM and wife Samantha were distraught when they realised Nancy wasn’t with them.”

Nancy got left in the pub loo when Mr Cameron drove off after his lunch.

She wandered off to the Ladies as the PM and Samantha were arranging lifts — and they only realised she was missing once they were back home.

Downing Street said: “The PM and Samantha were distraught when they realised Nancy wasn’t with them.

“Thankfully when they phoned the pub, she was there safe and well.

“The PM went down straight away to get her.”

The Camerons and children Nancy, Arthur, six, and 22-month-old Florence had been having Sunday lunch with two other families at the Plough Inn near the PM’s country home Chequers. Afterwards the PM went home in a car flanked by bodyguards, thinking Nancy was with Sam and their other children in a second vehicle.

Mr Cameron drove the two miles back to the 16th-century pub and found Nancy happily helping out the staff.

She was away from her family for about 15 minutes.

A Plough insider said: “You’d have thought someone would have done a headcount or something.

“Pub staff found their daughter in the toilet and didn’t know what to do.

“It’s not like you can look up David Cameron in the phone book and then ring to say, ‘You’ve left your daughter behind’.

“It’s frightening the Prime Minister of Britain can forget something so important as his own daughter.”

Friends of the PM have recently told how he likes “chillaxing” at Chequers at the weekends.

They say he enjoys watching films on telly, napping and enjoying three or four glasses of wine with lunch.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/politics/4365514/David-Cameron-left-his-daughter-aged-8-down-pub-after-lunch.html

If you google this news, there is a website which captioned this as "Cameron leaves his daughter in boozer".

Since this is a 2-month old incident, it begs the question why the Sun re-hashed it just before Cameron is due to appear before Leveson?
So Cameron likes his wine with lunch we are now told. What is the Sun implying? That probably the PM was so pissed that he did not notice his first born was left behind? Is this Sun's subtle message to Cameron to watch his words at Leveson - a taste of what's to come if he drops them in shit?

As expected the Camerons blame it on Security staff.
Surely children should be priority of responsible parents, especially when this is a family social outing to lunch.
Not as if the children's security was primarily down to the security minders when they were out sans their parents.

It would be an international disgrace for parents to lose a child who was with you, then point the finger at outside factor (security for example).
Surely security staff priority was for the PM, they are after all not child-minders.
Alright, granted they could have been more attentive as well, but at the end of the day it is down to the parents to be responsible in that situation.

Wonder if DC was wearing the traditional ndor uniform of cropped trousers or shorts to indicate he was in holiday mode?

I am apolitical, the a stands for anti, I spent a short time a long while ago helping some local guy get elected and vowed I would never get into it. Some go into politics wanting to help people, nowadays it seems to have become a career move. Perhaps this.is run by the s**m to discredit him at LI, punishment maybe for his silly lol texts.
