Well? Is no-one going to mention it?
Before I say what, can people remember about posting about Maddies head being too big for the body and therefore MUST have been photoshopped?
Look at the picture on the right of the Father...I'm assuming a genuine photograph? The head looks way out of proportion in that particular photo.
My point is certain photos can look so wrong.

Please, if any posters do get the chance to look at an updated version of Crockford -

(the clerical directory for the Church of England)

- would you mind please checking to see if the spelling of Rev H.Q. Hubbard's name has been remedied.

All the news media has him styled as "Haynes Quentin Hubbard".

Crockford has him down as "Haynes Quinton Hubbard" in their 2010/2011 edition.

Presumably only one of these is the right spelling.

I find this snippet from an article in the Christian Post rather telling, as regards the nature of the priest and the vicar

Pacheco indicated that he already expected the church to be involved in the police investigations.

"I find it perfectly normal that police would carry out searches in Praia da Luz, and not excepting the church," the Catholic priest said.

Anglican priest Hubbard, meanwhile, has said he believed it to be "ridiculous" to imagine that the church could be used to conceal anything in the Madeleine case.

'Ludicrous' 'ridiculous' and 'preposterous' have almost become code words to me -

- as in 'there might be something in what you are alleging'. Doublespeak...?

I'm convinced that the Church lies at the heart of this mystery story.

I've had a scratch about on the St Vincent Algarvian Anglican parish website today -

it seems Rev Lars Nowen is off to Canada at the end of the month...

...meanwhile, St Vincent's is in vacancy - the website says :

"Watch this space for news of our new chaplains".

This Google search result had me wondering if Haynes-Baby is back in town :

Well the color red does have certain associations. If one is to subscribe to a theory that there are cults and sects operating within what does appear to be a 'murder mystery.'

In my opinion Gerry McCann is The Joker. So I would be suspicious of anyone who is a close friend of his. Father Seddon looks as dodgy as they come, imo.

Can't believe it's a 'coincidence' that he got drafted into Luz so soon after Madeleine's 'abduction'. Bet the Hubbards knew the Mcs prior to that fateful week. And quite well too I suspect.

I can't imagine why else they would be so very supportive of a couple who 'lost' their daughter in highly suspicious circumstances.

Not that I like to defend the Hubbards, they make my skin crawl as much that couple of pathetic parents do, but I am pretty sure the transfer was arranged long before. It would be impossible to arrange a move on such short terms.

You can always state that what happened was arranged as soon as the Hubbards knew they were being relocated. Somehow I doubt that. I think the Hubbards are, like all those who jumped on the TM bandwagon, just plain opportunists who look for publicity, money or both or just their 15 min of fame.

I think this case has all the hallmarks of some kind of occultism. The sleazy 'priest'; the Mcs high profile visit to the pope; the beyond weird photos released (e.g: the supposed birthday photo with Kate brandishing a dagger above the cake).

There are 'cults' attached to the case - Freemasonry, Medicine. The 'myth' of the 'perfect family' and the myth that doctors would not do anything to harm anyone, especially their own child.

There are some parallels with the Jon Benet Ramsey case, imo.

And a great many red flags that 'paedo rings' are at least partly behind all this.

Look at the timing of the assassination of the Belgian PM.

Came across an article in The Telegraph dated 12th September 2007 in which Hubbard gives a rather different view on the searching of the church to the one he gave the Christian Post on 19th September 2007 -

Anglican vicar for the Algarve, Father Haynes Hubbard said he had not heard of any searches of the church, but welcomed police inside.
“I hope they search it, I hope they search it very well, and maybe they can find something,” he said.
