The most sensible theory so far

Post by jmbd on 16.02.10 19:38

"I believe that the children had all been over-sedated. Madeleine may have got up and wandered - feeling groggy from drugs, she may have fallen behind the sofa and suffered a fatal injury. Alternatively, she may have lapsed into a coma due to over-sedation. Both these scenarios would explain the fine blood spray - this may have been the result of a broken neck or tracheotomy. My personal belief is that she broke her neck, falling behind the sofa."

I think we should pick this new theory up and run with it. Lets kick it in the air and see where it lands, we have to give this space and allow it to breathe.

It fits all the parameters, child missing, someone (unknown to blame).

I know what these forum are like - if you want to pick fault please provide links.

Sorry, just to check, you want links to disprove a theory that isn't based in fact?

You provide the links to back your theory.....thats the way it normally works.

Interesting. How can anybody proof she wasn't sedated?
Or proof she was?

I think it's maybe the way the PJ worked. Start at the end result and work backwards.

I'm not so keen as it's trying to make everything fit around a theory, rather than have basic facts and working from there.

Don't expect to air any theories here unless it's the 'parents are innocent of everything' route without a concerted effort to derail the thread. It seems that many are not here to add any useful information as to what happened to Maddie but merely to disrupt. They actually don't want to discuss anything, just here to protect the 'parents'. Anyway, good try and an interesting OP. It's perfectly possible.

Marigold, I don't think there was a problem with discussing the theory, more to do with the op asking for links to disprove it rather than provide links to back it up.

A theory is a theory. So what next?

Well none of us have provided links to dismiss is Marigold so it's definitely .....a theory

Any body who thinks the parents are innocent, can not be serious!! I can not see anything in the report but lies lies and distortion by the whole lot of them K&G and the rest of the T9.And if they are innocent why oh why do they not cooperate?.If left to a 10 year old to decide,on the evidence ,if they are guilty or not,i am sure they would be found guilty. Its the lots of little things that make up the case. For me among other things its the "Dogs"that are so incredibly unreliable(and are today in the news for sniffing out another body),that make the case.We are supposed to believe that the smell of cadaver on KMs cloths came from being in contact with corpses while at work,6 corpses in fact.Well who are the deceased and when did KM
get so close to them that their body fluids came to be on her cloths.I mean 6 dead bodies!!! Oh and she brought her kids "Cuddle Cat" into the morgue with her!!! FFS you couldn't make it up!!

What about people who just believe in the rights of any human being to be found guilty or innocent by a court of law?

That seems rather a sweeping statement.Perhaps you would be kind enough to point out where the disruptions have occured,TIA.
