I can't think of anyone else to add but I'm sure there's more. Is a trademark paid for? I still don't get the point of the trademark but I'm not savvy in these things.

Anyway, what this thread shows is there are a lot of bucks being made and we still have no clear idea of what happened to Madeleine. So for all GM's strategy/jargon/business-speak it ain't helping Madeleine is it? and it probably hasn't cost the MC's very much financially (in my humble opinion of course).

I can't believe that someone would write this:

....The pictures I saw of our Madeleine no sane human being would want in her head, but they were in mine. I simply couldn’t rid myself of these evil scenes in the early days or weeks....

It begs the question, what DID she see? As for some of the other points Kate wrote, I have to question her sanity

IMO I question Kate's sanity too justme3 in stating this in a book. When I read about "the awful pictures that scrolled through my head, of her body, her perfect little genitals torn apart", it suggested to me that this was not just thoughts of an unknown pedophile perpetrating such a thing on Maddie which Kate tries to implant in the reader's mind. Rather, I suspect that this is a vision she could have actually seen and which haunts her on a daily basis possibly giving her nightmares. I have never believed that Kate was the perpetrator or that it was an accident. Perhaps she was a witness or she saw the body later. IMO, Kate has kept quiet about it all because she loves the money and the celebrity more than she loved Maddie.

justme3 I think you should try a little bit harder to find the most appropriate thread to post your comments in. It shouldn't be the moderator's job to do that for you and it spoils the flow of the discussions taking place.

Let me just say that of all people, her parents should be the last people to make money out of her, yet they are the ones who made the most money of the back of her name!

The rest of them namely tapas 7, their bunch of lawyers, their publicist, PR, and newspapers, who made money out of her is incidental since they piggy backed onto the mccanns.

Her perpetrators should not profit from their crime, that is not to say her parents were her perpetrators (in case CR and mccanns are reading) but they were nonetheless suspects yet to be exonerated in a Court of Law. They should either get themselves eliminated or come clean about their Fund contributed in the main by young children and pensioners.
I term begging for money to be put in envelopes and sent to them more sinful and more evil than the selling of merchandise or suing the papers. The former is called deliberately conning the vulnerable and kind hearted young and old for their selfish end, and that is beyond evil.

A new film about paedophiles and Madeleine Mccann

READY for a new film about Madeleine McCann? The List has an interview with Markus Schleinzer – writer and director of Michael:

His debut film is “based on Madeleine McCann and Josef Fritzl cases”.

Madeleine McCann went misisng. We do not know what happened to her. Josef Fritzl imprisoned and raped his children.

Schleinzer has spent 17 years in the Austrian film industry as a casting director, working for filmmakers such as Michael Haneke (The Piano Teacher, The White Ribbon), Jessica Hausner (Lovely Rita, Lourdes) and Ulrich Seidl (Dog Days). His debut feature, Michael, which he wrote and directed, was the only German-language film in competition at Cannes in 2011. Inspired by the Natascha Kampusch and Josef Fritzl cases, and the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, it observes the last five months in the relationship between a 35-year-old paedophile (Michael Fuith) and a 10-year-old boy (David Rauchenberger) whom he keeps in his locked basement.

On high-profile paedophile cases

“When I began writing the script for Michael in late 2008, you couldn’t pick up a paper or switch on the TV, without noticing the Madeleine McCann or the Josef Fritzl cases. I was disgusted by the way the tabloid press used these stories to make money. I wanted to make a film about paedophilia which wasn’t easy to consume.”

The tabloid press, it could be argued, raised the profile of the cases. But they wer very different. Fritzl came to media attention after his crimes wer exposed. We do not know what happend to the media’s Our Maddie. Her story has been one of speculation. There is not proof paedos wer involved in her vanishing.

But, still, if her name can help your film to get noticed…
