solved McCann Musings

Post by Willo on Tue Oct 11, 2011 7:05 am

Some random thoughts laterally connected.....sort of....

I was wondering if there is any police procedure to take blood from suspects when when arrested, charged or even say made an aguido in Portugal.

After seeing some of the footage of Kate it is hard not to suspect that she had self medicated herself with some drug or other. Alcohol, strong marijauna, e's, cocaine or maybe over cooking it with prescription drugs, one of which I think was the reason she was seen in public so obviously off her face.

So if blood tests were a requirement it would be interesting to see what secrets Kates sample would reveal. Alcohol and prescription drugs, being a Doctor, would be easy to have an answer for but illicit drug use would be harder to talk your way out of. Well for most villians anyway.

I also had a thought that the 9 or 14? bottles of wine they said they consumed in the short space of time could have been a cover up for drug induced behaviour. Sluggishness, halucinating (Tanner), faliure to summon enough motivation to search for your own child, false perception of times, over complicated explainations and lack of confidence that everybody gets the story right, thus writing it down for everybody to read and remember.

Another thing is could the comings and goings from the table be drug related? Not to my shame on a holiday along ago I remember having drugs in our apartment and various members of our group slipping off for a top up throughout the evening, from memory every one a male. Safer than taking it out and about and it was mostly close enough not to be a hassle. Bearing in mind we were a younger group (with no kids) it would not surprise me in the least if Doctors, using illicit drugs, would be even more discrete than we were.

One more point. Drug taking usually is a social event. On holiday even more so. Most of the group I was with all took drugs, some just occasionally, some were right pigs, some abstained but we all knew by obvious visual and behavioral signs who was stoned and who wasn't. Point being eveyone knew drugs were going down and it was too hard to hide even if you even wanted to hide the fact. Surely Doctors would know if any of their fellow holiday makers showed any signs of drug use and surely they would have wanted to distance themselves as far away as possible from any scandal that could have arisen. Unless of course they or a partner were users too. Or they turned a blind eye when they realised the score and took the risk. A risk maybe they have yet to fully regret. Or maybe they were just oblivious.

I think Madeleine's fate was already complete before the last supper so maybe drugs helped calm some of them down that night. It is also feasible that several nervous people probably could skull 14 bottles in an hour or so thinking about the tradegy they were about to unfold.

As to the last supper another strange thing was that Diane Webster stayed at the table when everybody else staggered off. Why did she not join the search? How long did she stay there? My minds eye impression of her is of a maternal type woman (not sure how I built up that picture) who would be frantic over the loss of a young girl. But she appeared to do nothing. Unless of course she was the one who drank the nine bottles of vino and had good reason to stay seated.

That's all, I've had rant and me tea is ready and I might accompany the chilli prawns with my drug of choice these days, a nice glass of chilled New Zealand white. Bon appitite.

Interesting post Willo.

As far as I can recall did they not say Diane Webster was the heaviest drinker out of them all still even if I was not able to stand up I would still have tried to help as would be panicking too.

You have made me think about Kate having her and the twins (not Gerry note) tested and found out that it is possible to hide drug use when your hair is tested. Article regarding Kate's drug test below.

Snipped From Daily Fail 23.11.2007.

"But results of the toxicology tests on hair samples from Mrs McCann show no evidence of any drugs in her body at any stage in the last eight months.
Hair from her two-year-old twins Sean and Amelie was also tested to show they had not been given sedatives.

The drug tests were carried out by Home Office approved experts in September after the finger of suspicion was first pointed at the couple.

Edward Smethurst, the lawyer co- ordinating their defence team, told the Evening Standard: "Hair grows by about a centimetre a month so if you have eight centimetres of hair, you can test for drugs going back eight months.

"With the appropriate, fully accredited experts, hair samples were taken from Sean, Amelie and Kate and the conclusion was no evidence of sedatives or drugs were found.

"There were various stories circulating that Kate might somehow be unstable and might be depressed, but the tests demonstrate that the kind of drugs she might be on did not show up."

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-495913/Kate-takes-drug-tests-prove-wasnt-anti-depressants-Madeleine-vanished.html

Interesting phrase here "but the tests demonstrate that the kind of drugs she might be on did not show up". What drugs were tested (only anti-depressants?) and did others show up?

Also several snipped passages (giving main info) from a blog about how you can beat a hair drugs test (just one of many on the net).

"Methods To Beat A Hair Drug Test

Below are reviews and recommendations of various methods and products that are available to beat a hair drug test. We tested 6 different individuals, using an independent hair testing lab. Six hair samples were taken from each individual, and treated separate from one another with each of the methods reviewed below."

"All subjects were given an initial hair test before using any of the methods or products used to beat a hair drug test reviewed below. All came back positive for the drugs they had used, so we were certain they would have failed had they not used any treatments to beat a hair drug test."

"Toxin Wash (Recommended) – This treatment gave the best results of all the methods and products we tested to beat a hair drug test. All test subjects beat their hair drug tests after using this product, except for subject #6, who failed for the opiates but passed for marijuana.

We were most impressed by the fact that it worked for cocaine and methamphetamine on two different test subjects as well as marijuana on all test subjects. Toxin Wash’s active ingredient is a salt made from a weak base and a strong acid, and according to the website from this product, the salt is kept at virtually full strength and is not affected by the other inactive ingredients in the product (which can be a problem when mixing ingredients in manufacturing).

We were referred to this product by one of the hair experts that we consulted when compiling information from this website. He had told us that he used it on his clients as a deep clarifying treatment, and for those that had come to him asking for chemical treatments to be done to help beat a hair drug test. He said Toxin Wash is by far the strongest yet safest acid type hair treatment that cuts right through the cuticle to the outer cortex."

The other methods did not work apparently but this one did and if anyone would know how to beat a drugs test it would be a doctor - heh?

solved Metodo 3

Post by tigger on Tue Oct 11, 2011 7:41 am

There are some links with drugs. For a start, I think you don't run any risk of arrest in Portugal when it's for personal use. Have you never seen the photograph of Gerry where he looks, well - unreasonably happy? I think that was still in Portugal.
Kate certainly looks as if she's on something very errm 'calming', she's almost catatonic in some interviews. Which is why they have the format down to a t nowadays. No new questions, just the litany of injustice they are suffering.
Then one wonders how they got hold of the Metodo 3, one of whom is now in prison for smuggling cocaine.
I wouldn't wonder and, although I do not approve, adult use of drugs and alcohol on holiday is very common.
But a lot of the confusion and lack of cohesion in the T9 statements may well be because it's pretty well impossible to get people to tell the right lies. IMO a number of the Tapas 7 didn't know the full story anyway.
Which explains why the timeline had to be written out twice and then typed out , running to three sheets. Each of the T9 had one and they asked the PJ if they could take it in with them for their statements, singing of the same song sheet doesn't even cover it!

Just read your post. IMO the powers that can modify the FSS test on DNA will have no trouble getting the Right Results for anything else.

But to my recollection, test on the hair of the twins was refused initially, then their hair was cut very short after a few months, then the drug tests were done. Another way of avoiding detection of drugs, is to cut bits of your hair during a long non drug period. off and keep it in reserve.

Not merely in prison for a few years.
This is Antonio Giménez Raso, the one who was in Morocco inventing sightings of Madeleine for M3, on behalf of their paymasters the McCanns.
The public prosecutor has asked for 18 YEARS imprisonment for him and 6 years 7 months for his twin brother Carlos. He is still languishing on remand in Barcelona.
There is a separate thread on him. He was 'missing - presumed abducted' for a time because the press mis-spelled his name as Jimenez

I will look at the thread, but I don't think anyone has ever explained how the McCanns 'found' this outfit or whether they were acquainted with them before 3/5.
