Just to elucidate the Marting Grime aspect and the Specialist dogs, Eddie & Keela. When the PJ files were first published and issued to some Journalists in 2008, Grimes was interviewed, "off the record" by a small number of journo's including a good friend and colleague of mine who was , at the time, a sub-editor of a National Sunday newspaper.

Grimes made it very clear that he was unhappy with what he referred to as his "treatment" by authorities unknown, (although he did say they were British), who had coerced him, he says, to "play down" the significance of the dogs' findings. Grimes let it be known that Eddies and Keelas 'scentings' were irrefutable, in his mind, having worked with the dogs successfully on very many cases for the many of the Constabularies in the UK on high profile cases.

Grimes stated that he was "instructed" to ensure that in his subsequently produced report, he was to emphasise that the dog's findings were inadmissable as evidence, (which is of course, true, but he had NEVER been instructed on any other case to point this out), and that they were effectively inconsequential without further corroborative evidence.

Birmingham FSS initially suggested in their reports that recovered material, as indicated in spots by the dogs, DID appear to have significant 'markers', consistent with Madeleine's profile. Of course, that initial report, (like so many initial reports in this case), was subsequently CHANGED!

But that's ANOTHER story for another day.......

Thanks Candyfloss, it's just as we all thought, a total sham.

Eddie and Keela should get the recognition they deserve. So should Martin Grime, all of their careers have been and continue to be trashed by the McCann's, just to keep their sorry arses out of jail.

I honestly think, there has never been a case like this, or will there ever be.

It's a very sad state of affairs if all those journalists heard that from Mr Grimes, and yet not one dared to print it! Shocking!

A he said it "off the record" they couldn't print it. Shame that he felt so put on that he couldn't be open with it though - how different things would be now! sad

From the files, - Martin Grimes.......................

Martin Grime
CARTAS ROGATORIAS 3 Pages 21 to 25

Dated May 14 2008

Q: At any time, did Gerald McCann address, either in Portugal or the United Kingdom, the performance of the dogs in this case?

I never met nor spoken to Gerald McCann. However I do know that he addressed my head supervisor at the time, the South Yorkshire Head of Police, or Mr. Meredith Hughes.

Why did Grimes allow himself to be coerced by the British authorities?

It is his professionalism and examplary records of the dogs that he is tampering with ...when he agreed to take heed of authorities coercion.

Mr. Meredith Hughes needs to be questioned IMO. I hope SY are looking into what exactly he discussed with Gerry McCann - the chief suspect at the time and more importantly WHY!

It is absolutely scandalous that Gerry McCann, a Doctor from Leicestershire, was allowed to get so near the case that was building against him and that he was apparently telling Police Officers what he would like them to do AND THEY WERE DOING IT!!

Expose the lot of them I say.

I agree but maybe at the time these Police Officers were very powerful.

It's very telling tho that they feel the need to attack all that evidence and have it removed from public places.

Hardly the actions of innocent people.

IMO

And god forbid that the Gaspar Statement got out in the media as a whole. Also if anyone in the media actually tested Jane Tanners so called "sighting" That would blow the thing wide open!

A case in a class of its own

Post by Marian on 15.08.11 17:13

Can anybody think of any case even remotely similar to that of Madeleine McCann anywhere in the world? Whoever could have predicted on 4th May 2007 when the news was first being broadcast how the case would become important to so many people, all anxious in their own ways for it to be resolved.

As regards the Gaspar statement, I seem to recall a veiled reference to it in one of the tabloids - likely to be The Sun but I'm not sure and I don't know how long ago it was - in that the writer (if that term can be used for a Sun journalist) was of course slating all those people making "hurtful and unhelpful" comments, one of which was described as a disgusting slur about Dr Payne. I'm surprised that it got any sort of mention - heaven forbid, it could have encouraged people to try to find out what it was!

I think that it's because everyone who knows the truth is fighting for that little girl because she has been let down by so many people. It's unbearable because what could be more important than a little girl's life? The parents are not likeable people, have used political influence, the media and their very own daughter totally for their own gain. Everyone that is linked to their camp is gaining financially. They know that we know and same old reply, "there is no evidence". I think it's also because the records were released that we can get information that would never be available in another case.

I have just been lambasted on twitter by someone @anotherviv This is just a selection of their tweets.

" UR completely wrong to attack the police and Gordon Brown, this is clearly what the #McCanns wd want, GB abandoned them"
"Corrupt officers London Met being removed, u r unfairly tarring decent officers with same brush, LM have skills needed complex"
" UR desperately attacking the London Met who are investigating #McCann - what does that say about you?"
" #Mccann do not trust London Met either, they are still fundraising to conduct their own "search" so u keep great company"
"attempt by Team #McCann to get this case massively discussed in media again so their lawyers can say impossible get fair trial"
" Judges will usually hold needs to be at least one year break, so please give it a break, I have closed my blog"

What does everyone think. Is she right and should we keep schtum to give a fair trial?

I can't see the coverage as has been in the press (in the past) and on the internet making much difference whether it stops for a year now!

You have to be joking, keep quiet? Absolutely no way and the more vocal the more likely the truth will be exposed. The government and SY are not going to give a fair trail and will instead use their powers to cover it up like with everything else they do. Its a country of free speech and as there is one big scam going on, using a little girls life and dignity, looting money off people, lying to the public, not facing their responsibilities.....Its going to be the opposite of quiet!

Now imagine this, one of us has an emergency and contacts the respective Embassy or Consulate in the country where the emergency occurs and asks to be put through to the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the UK! This is absolutely surreal, this is what we are up against.
