KATE McCann tells today how she wrecked a bed as she kicked out in rage
The problem with the Sun saying this sort of thing is
1 there is no further mention in the body text of this alleged incident
2 It will be a matter of record in Mark Warner's files that a bed had been smashed
3 The beds were divans, and therefore almost impossible to 'wreck' or 'smash' with a kick from a thin and fragile woman
As soon as it was light Gerry and I resumed our search.
You cannot 'resume' a search which you have already told the world, on video, that you did not start that night, because it was too dark, when everyone else in the resort actually was looking.
The most striking thing was we were completely alone. Nobody else, it seemed, was out looking for Madeleine.
Apart from police, holiday makers, helicopters, dogs, volunteers and everyone else described in that long newspaper article by their friend whose name eludes me for the moment.

Kate also states that it was 10.00 am when they were collected and taken to the police station. But;
Jill Renwick live by telephone on GMTV, said she spoke to Kate at 7am and said that: ''Kate was at the police station in hysterics. When we spoke she said the police weren’t doing enough.''

Jill Renwick then "phoned the McCann’s wider circle of friends, who mobilised to phone anyone they could think of to beg for help. Renwick's sister called someone she knew in CID, someone had a connection with Des Browne, the defence secretary", according to The Guardian, on its June 2 edition.
Why would Jill claim Kate was at the station when she was not?
