Child Abandonment

Post by PeterMac on 25.04.11 8:01

Here is another tragedy
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1380224/Girl-15-dies-taking-Ecstasy-academics-home.html

But read on.
A girl of 15 has died after taking Ecstasy and amphetamines at the home of a respected academic in children’s development.
Isobel Jones-Reilly was at a party at Brian Dodgeon’s flat with about 20 friends, all guests of his 14-year-old daughter Beatrice Hadjipateras. EDIT
Mr Dodgeon, 60, a research fellow with the internationally renowned Centre for Longitudinal Studies, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs and child abandonment.
EDIT Sources said that the party started to ‘get out of hand when’ Mr Dodgeon left his home.

15, 14. He left them at his / their own home and has been arrested for Child Abandonment !!

Good morning PeterMac

Another young wasted life.

Another story that highlights that the McCann's have gotten away with crimes that others don't. I wonder if this academic will get an official spokesman, set up a Fund and write a book?

Child abandonment can't be a serious crime in England or Portugal
The McCann's have never been charged with abandon or neglect

Why would they, didn't they say it was responsible parenting?

Or as Gerry said:
"And if Madeleine had hurt herself inside the apartment, why would that be our fault?"

I just hope that if they ever will be dependent on care of others they will be treated as they treated not only Madeleine but all 3 kids.
