An imminent change from Socialists to Democrats in Portugal - could there be a re-assessment of the Madeleine McCann case?

Post by Tony Bennett on 15.03.11 21:31

This article on the Algarve News Watch blog comments on the forthcoming visit of Charles and Camilla to Portugal, and, in the process, predicts the imminent fall of Portugal's Socialist government.

We know that our Gordon Brown and the Portuguese President (Barroso) and Prime Minister (Jose Socrates) discussed Madeleine at the Lisbon Euro Summit in October 2007.

Did they collude to make sure the Madeleine McCann investigation ran into the sand? If so, might the incoming Democrat government take a new look at the case? -

This particular Portuguese blog has a history of sceptical comment about the McCanns, as in last year's article: "Madeleine Sightings and Media Madness":-
