I have spoken to a court official at Horseferry Road Magistrates Court today and the case is indeed now definitely listed for tomorrow, candyfloss wrote:According to some posts on Twitter the Halligen case is postponed until tomorrow?
Thursday 4 November 2010
in Court One (3rd Floor)
at 10.00am.
I have not yet been able to establish whether or not there will be yet another application for an adjournment.

Re: Halligen case postponed?
Why would it need to be adjourned ? Will an explanation be given?

Another adjournment?
Stella, the case has already been postponed three or four times, on the last two occasions it was all about Kevin Halligen getting Legal Aid from the British taxpayer to fight the extradition request; he has now got Legal Aid, but there are a variety of other technical and procedural aspects to extradition hearings which could delay the case from a full trial once again.Stella wrote:Why would it need to be adjourned ? As he is apparently a British citizen (though Irish), the Court will bend over backwards to ensure that he is not extradited to Johnny Foreigner (even our mates in the U.S.) unless the case for extradition is overwhelmingly proved.
