Well now we know the reason for the stories in the papers this morning the usual diversion tactics.

This on twitter

RT @xklamation: John #McCann also resigned from Madeleine's Fund Director's Board - Attention to all rats: Time to abandon sinking ship! Justice

It states at Companies House details that "appointment terminated" bit different to resigned. wow

ETA terminated 27/08/10 both JM and DS

So Gerry sacked his brother so he could have all the money in the fund?

One is sure that it can only be for the best. Who would want to be associated with such a Fund in the first place? It is all very well jumping onto bandwagons, but there always comes a point where you either have to jump off or get thrown off if there are too many people out of synch or playing the wrong notes.

TM01 Termination of appointment of director · This
form is submitted to Companies House to notify of the termination of
appointment (resignation) of a company director (person or corporate).

https://ewf.companieshouse.gov.uk/help/en/stdwf/glossaryHelp.html

Looks like it is resignation after all, just different terminology.

Are they frightened of being sued or counter-sued by anybody?

Some interesting reading here

http://www.scribd.com/doc/36744755/Madeleine-s-Fund-Leaving-No-Stone-Unturned-Limited-Full-Report-27-01-2010

I never realised John McCann was a director or company sec at so many companies . 21 in all I think, and Ed Smethurst 28. Or am I misreading. Scroll down the page.

Public interest in the case has waned considerably, I doubt much money is coming in now. Fund being wound down by any chance?

Team McCann must have had a day out at Companies House

For weeks now I have been watching Arthur Daley`s Cowleys one man company Alphaig (not Alpha Investigations group, as portrayed in the press). Form AR01(Company Annual Return) was due on July 8th and has been overdue since that date, it was only a matter of time before companies house issue a proposal to strike the company off, assuming that it is no longer needed. Yesterday, 31 Aug 2010, Cowley decides that he does need the company and files his return. Nothing unusual about all this, but:-

Watch out for the return of the pretendy cops - I predict that something very big and utterly ludicrous is about to happen. lol!

One is going to need a new pace-maker at this rate. One so wishes that Team McCann would start to play fair and pace themselves, instead of giving us a whole glut of stuff to deal with all at once.

There had better not be any of their mincing around on the sofas with Gamble and Lorraine Kelly this week, or one will simply not be able to contain oneself or one's bladder. never mind

So that it did not look like a stampede or to stop the internet posters from thinking they were rats jumping from a sinking ship?

When one has been a director of companies in the past, one has been asked to step down on occasion in order to be voted back in again.

I find it strange, considering this news of the two directors resigning being all over the internet yesterday, non of the media has reported on it. At one time they would print anything to do with this case because it sold more papers. Sky would have had it as breaking news - two directors resign from Madeleine Fund. Now why is that? The story would not be libellous in any way as it is there for all to see at Companies House. They all have contact with Clarence Mitchell, so why has noone asked him to comment?
