When that Act came into effect on 1 April 1974, that was the moment we lost our status as an independent country.

Thank you @ Nigel Farage for helping us to regain it
Er... Tony... she has to get it passed in Parliament.

That's not going to happen.

She has all the tools she needs right now without Parliament.

The British people have already voted.

ARTICLE 50 NOW!

I side with ‘BlueBag’ on this.
Me too, trigger it NOW.

Media reports yesterday stating that she will have us out in 2019.  2020 election year.  How wonderful that she is now able to give us all a couple of pennies off our income tax because it was those nasty EU gits who kept us from doing so blah blah.

Yay we are all going to feel better off now we have a couple of pennies extra every year, meantime for the next 3 1/2 years we keep putting millions into the EU pot a fair bit of which will go towards massive pensions.

Yay we are all equal and the plebs are going to have a great future.   ha ha.

I keep reading how well Britain is doing since the Brexit vote.  Am I missing something cos I certainly aint better off.  PAAAHHH.

We are not leaving the EU today to give up control of immigration again, and we are not leaving only to return to the jurisdiction of the European court of justice. We are going to be a country ... that is no longer part of a political union with supranational institutions that can override national parliaments and courts..

Now we have "soft Brexit" and "hard Brexit" being argued about within the government.

More time wasting.

Of course "soft Brexit" means not actually Brexiting but some kind of front that looks like we did something but ultimately the EU still tells us what to do.

The media publishing stories about how bad "hard Brexit" would be for Britain.

The good news is Farage is back.

I hope he makes it long term.
