Had the three burglars disturbed the sleeping Madeleine, the most likely time would have been during an attempt to open the bedroom window, with the noise of the shutters, the light entering the bedroom and the draught from the window.

If she had been woken by this, why would any burglar continue to climb in through the window to take her? They wouldn't would they? They would just abandon their attempt at burglary and run away.

If, however, the burglars had gone into the apartment through the patio doors and woken Madeleine, why on earth would they have gone to the trouble of opening the window?

Could it be that Metodo 3 have now become more trustworthy than SY's Operation Grange?

Just throwing this out there for debate.

What if Rocky's book is more or less correct MM had an accident that evening/night?

What if 'a friend of a friend' knew an addict or a criminal who'd carry MM off to hide her temporarily for a bit of cash?

Question: What is the forensic evidence for ingress by three burglars and egress by three burglars plus one infant?

Question: Where on the adjusted timeline did this crime occur? (see Crimewatch for expanding window of opportunity by DCI Redwood)

It occurred just prior to 10 pm. So did the sighting of a man carrying a child who resembled Madeleine. So, is one of the three burglars the man seen by the Smith family?

Question: Had suspicions been aroused about three burglars before or after the reported Lisbon meeting attended by Alison Saunders (DPP) in June 2013?

Did these three "suspects" contact the McCanns and ask them to get the apartment forensically cleaned up so they could not be traced?

A question for OG, methinks, sj.

Don't ask me. Too many clocks whirring forwards. Too many things taken back to zero. Too many onions being peeled. End result: Cuckoo noises, empty circles and watery eyes = Confusion. Which, apparently is a good thing.

Burglars search through drawers and cupboards for items to steal. There is no evidence on the first photographs of the apartment to indicate any rifling through any drawers or cupboards and nothing was stolen so what indications of a burglary are SY using?

How to Perform the 3 Burglars Card Trick

Combine the elements of a crime drama and a magical illusion for this entertaining card trick..

Separate a King and three Jacks from the deck.

Prepare for the trick by placing two Kings and the remaining Jack at the bottom of the deck in a King-Jack-King sequence.

Begin the trick by showing the audience the three Jacks and the deck. Explain that the Jacks are three burglars and the deck is the house they're going to rob. Don't fan the deck.

Place the first Jack on the bottom of the deck, saying that the first burglar went in through the front door.

Place the second Jack on the top of the deck, saying that the second burglar went in through the back door.

Stick the third Jack in near the middle of the deck, saying that the third burglar went in through a window.

Show the King to the audience, saying that the King is a detective chasing after the burglars.

Place the King on the bottom of the deck, saying that the detective followed the burglars in through the front door.

Cut the deck several times, saying that the detective chased the burglars around the house all night.

Fan out the deck, revealing a King-Jack-King-Jack-King-Jack sequence toward the middle of the deck.

Tell the audience that, in the morning, all three burglars were caught.

[Courtesy of tricky dicky wiki knowhow]

It's all an illusion!

Why did the three burglars come carrying blood and cadaver scent to spread around the apartment and on KM’s clothes?

Why carry off a three year old ‘witness’ rather than just bang her on the head and just scarper?

What was the need to bang her on the head anyway? (Didn’t KM suggest that all three had been drugged or chloroformed or something, in which case, obviously having come prepared, why then scarper taking nothing?)

What exam grades did these three achieve at ‘burglar and abduction school'? (I’ll apologise in advance for that one)

If KM was so adamant that MM had been taken by pedo’s, why is the bungled burglary now being pushed as the ‘most credible’ explanation?

‘Madeleine’s former GP mum Kate, 48, and heart doctor dad Gerry, 47, believe the theory she was snatched in a bungled burglary is one of the 'most credible' explanations for her disappearance.
In her book Kate wrote that `burglaries were rife on that stretch on the Algarve’ and house-breakers were like `mice’ in Praia da Luz.
She was angry that the resort had not warned guests as they checked in about the security fears.’

@BlueBag wrote:Has SY said officially that this is their position?

No. it's all spin, 'sources' and actual quotes from SY mixed together in the same articles together with BHH's interview about the case coming to an end, the same BHH who had to be reminded what Op. Grange was in earlier interviews.

A 'source' said 'this line of inquiry is believed to be key.'

A spokesman (SY) said: "There is no comment while there is an on-going investigation."

SY said 'It's not something we would discuss'.

if we are to believe there is the slightest possibility that 3 burglars went into 5a, all left no forensic trace, took no money or valubles but did take a screaming child rather than just abandon their raid...how did they get the child away from there? Not only do they have superpowers where they don't leave a single print, fibre or hair but they can also fly off and remain invisible with a snatched child whilst the whole world looks for her. Then they either sell the child to gypsies like some Enid Blyton gone wrong story, raise her as their own in secret because she's such a beautiful child or....the last possibility we come round to leaves us with that problem again, we are magically left with no trace of a body as if it vanished into thin air....these people we are dealing with are experts at this kind of thing yet it was completely unplanned and just by chance.

With regard to the veracity of press reports about the three burglars: In the traditions of policing an editor would be told in no uncertain terms what was acceptable to report in the old days.

The press have never been stopped in their tracks with these wild stories as far as I can tell. I have, for instance, never seen a notification of a withdrawal of an inaccurate report or a notice of amendment.

OG read this bilge and they have choices. They have a duty to define the boundaries of reportage during live investigations IMO.

Tony Blair saw the 45 Minute headline go public and sat on his hands. Therefore, I deduce it was  deliberately planted, or, if not, it was allowed to stand as it suited his purposes. The same must pertain here. Instead, we have had years of the same old cobblers. BHH, I seem to recall, even conceded live on radio that arrests were imminent. That followed the press narrative to a T.

What happened to the notion of responsible policing? Without fear or favour, as Cameron often says..

BHH said: "I think some of those have been stopped and there is a line of inquiry I think is, well, everybody agrees, is worthwhile pursuing".
If we believe the source in MSM media, Portugal doesn´t seems to agree with this burglary theory because of lack of evidence.

There´s a big possibility that this "last line" is something else IF the MSM "source" is telling the truth and if BHH telling the truth.

Madeleine McCann 'abducted during botched burglary'

Madeleine McCann went missing in 2007 while on holiday with her family in Portugal Credit:PA
Lexi Finnigan
29 April 2016 • 8:52am

Madeleine McCann may have been taken by a gang of thieves during a botched robbery, British police believe.
One of the gang worked for the resort where Madeleine's family were on holiday, when she was abducted in 2007.
Police believe the man who drove a tourist bus for the Mark Warner complex was also working with a 16-year-old and two other men.
British police have revealed Madeleine may have been snatched during a break-in at the apartment where she was sleeping.
Mobile calls between the men on the night of her disappearance have placed the men at the scene.
Now British police want to quiz the three suspects further, having already questioned them previously.
During a radio interview this week, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe said he believed there was “one final lead” in the case.
The Sun reports this line of enquiry may be that lead, but that police were privately frustrated with the Portuguese authorities’ refusal to let them follow up on it.
One told The Sun: “It has dogged the investigation all the way through and it's happening again.
"If we can't question the three suspects again the trail goes cold and the case will be shelved."
The three men have been declared suspects by Portuguese police who arrested them on the request of British police but they have been released.
When they were previously interviewed the men admitted petty theft from apartments at the complex but denied being involved in Madeleine's disappearance.
The youth said he had got involved in crime because he was desperate to have a fast sports car.
Two holiday apartments in the same block where the McCanns stayed where broken into two weeks before the family arrived.
The suspects are Jose Carlos da Silva, 30, who used to drive guests to their apartments at the Ocean Club resort in Praia da Luz, Ricardo Rodrigues, 24, and Paulo Ribeiro, 53.
Madeleine’s mother Kate, 48, and father Gerry, 47, believe the theory she was snatched in a bungled burglary is one of the “most credible” explanations for her disappearance.
Scotland Yard said: “It’s not something we would discuss.”
Operation Grange was launched in 2011 following widespread criticism of the Portuguese police investigation.
But detectives have made no arrests despite investigating 60 people of interest and taking over 1,300 statements.
Officers also investigated 560 lines of enquiry and even dug up parts of Praia da Luz in 2014 in a search for clues.
There have been nearly 9,000 reported sightings of Madeleine around the world since her disappearance.
--------------------------------------------------------------
So 'abducted during botched burglary' TO 'MAY have been...'

The youth said he "had got involved in crime because he was desperate to have a fast sports car."

Well he might very well get his 'wish', if he keeps getting 'named' in the UK media and he sues them for vast 'reputational' damages!

'He' is NOT a 'suspect' in any 'crime' regarding 'missing' MM!

He is, at best, according to PJ, only 'an arguido', a 'person of interest'

Keep casting 'aspertion', (A false or damaging accusation or insinuation: B. The act of slandering or libeling; defaming) about this guy, UK Madia, oh, and keep the 'cheque book' handy!
----------------------------------------------------------
10th February 2010.

GM: "Where... where, you know... where is... where... where is... where is... where is the child? We're looking for that evidence. Where is the child? What OTHER 'explanation' can explain how she's not here.?"

It´s not pedophile-ring-gangs-bastards anymore?
Great, then CEOP can bring back the holiday photos to PJ.

This is nothing but a huge farce.

The most credible? Of course they will say that, they will agree with anything which steers away from them!!!
Why are they not asking what the Credible Evidence is?
OG have proved nothing of the sort! It is a 'theory' based on phone call activity?

They have been basically told that Madeleine is dead!!?
It is what the Drs McCann don't say or do.which I find incriminating?!

Why are they not jumping on a plane to Portugal and begging the PJ to ask those 3 "murdering"' burglars what they have done with their daughter?!?!

I agree it is a complete 'farcical' and the 'gulible public' are supposed to believe it?!

Check out Paul Luckman from 2013 discussing the case with good old Eamon. Extremely important points mentioned including 'activity" around OC that night  (burglars)???

The PJ did NOT receive any requests concerning the 3 burglars

Post by MayMuse on 29.04.16 19:19

https://joana-morais.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/portuguese-police-did-not-receive-any.html

Another good reason...

The Portuguese Judiciary Police did not receive from the English authorities, investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, any request concerning the three men linked to thefts in 2007 in the Ocean Club, in Praia da Luz, to be questioned again. Madeleine McCann disappeared on May 3, 2007 from the apartment G5A of the the Ocean Club resort. She was three years old. According to Friday's edition of Telegraph, the British authorities would want to question three men, who had been in the past detained and interrogated (and released).
