CMOMM would like to wish Joana Morais a very Happy Birthday !
Without Joana and her outstanding dedication and hard work on the Maddie case we, here in the UK in particular, would have been non the wiser as to the lies that we were/are being fed in the British Mainstream Media.
Like so many other 'truthseekers', she has come under relentless harassment and attacks from McCann supporters.

We all owe so much to you and your colleagues in Portugal for all your translations, news and information - as we continue here to try to piece together what really happened to Madeleine McCann. It doesn't look like Operation Grange are going to solve it.
Enjoy the rest of your birthday

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, it was a wonderful surprise. As I said to Jill earlier on twitter, when I saw the birthday wishes here and at this forum facebook page it brought tears to my eyes, a mix of heart-warming feelings for being remembered by so many people and simultaneously feeling ecstatic with the fantastic news about Gonçalo Amaral.
This is truly a special day - 42 years ago, minus a few days, it was the Portuguese revolution, known by the Carnation Revolution - soon after that the Portuguese people right to Freedom of Expression was consecrated in the Portuguese constitution, under article 37 - which I have used as my motto in my blog.
Today, for the second time in this grossly unfair case, the judges of the Court of Appeals of Lisbon have restored some of the long awaited justice and, from what I could understand in a skim-read of the decision, nullified the previous ruling of the first instance court in its totality, thus reinstating, again for a second time, the right of freedom of expression of a Portuguese citizen, of a book publisher, of a video publisher, and of the TV channel who broadcast the documentary in 2008. This decision in effect puts an end to the groundless claims of libel by the litigious duo and their online abusive minions.
So, today we should all definitely pat ourselves in the back, without exceptions, and celebrate this rightful victory in the Portuguese bureaucratic courts, we all did it, we all helped in one way or another.
Again, thank you for all the kind birthday wishes. beijinhos to all, Jo.

And congratulations to Goncalo Amaral and all who have supported him. This brilliant news must have made your day extra special.
Thank you for all that you have done to keep us up to date on this case.
