I think I had best post this latest effort from 'thentherewere4' = 'himself' without comment.

Except to say two things.

Knowing the reality of being involved for nearly three years in the activity of questioning the accounts of the McCanns and the 'Tapas 9', and how different that reality is from the outpouring on yesterday's blog of TTW4 (below), I'm even less likely than I was before to take seriously the rest of what he writes.

The seond thing to say is that TTW4 may not yet have come up against one of the leading libel firms in the country telling you that Carter-Ruck probably have a writ ready to serve on you the very next working day - and that if you do not concede to their terms by 4.00pm this afternoon, you could lose all your savings and half your home.

With that out of the way, here is his 'take' on the current Carter-Ruck letter:

BENNETT - A DUPE FOR THE MCCANNS' FOIL by TTW4/himself

The recent Bennett - Carter Ruck correspondence demands a comment from this blog.

Bennett has given an undertaking to the court. This is an undertaking common sense dictates Bennett should never have given to Carter Ruck in the first place. Bennett's undertaking was extracted by David Kirwan of Kirwans Solicitors and it must be said, under some duress. The nature of the reasoning behind Bennett's complete compliance with the McCann's initial requests continues to puzzle and confound me to this day.

On reflection there really can only be one reason Bennett allowed himself to be manipulated by the McCanns in such a way. Bennett could be said to be either in league, to some degree, with the opposition or Bennett might be a willing player in their game of deceit. Regrettably either way the cards fall, in this instance they all face the same side up.

Bennett's court undertaking ensures the McCanns can at their leisure decide whether or not to instigate proceedings based soley upon this one undertaking alone. It also guarantees the McCanns will have no need to refer to the other real issues of the case IE the death of Madeleine. If the McCanns challenge Bennett in court Bennett must lose. There really is no other conclusion possible, to any observer this is all too self evident.

In court, should it ever come to it, the court will only be required to consider Bennett's undertaking and any breach thereof. This will be the only issue at stake and NOT the death, however caused, of Madeleine McCann. The undertaking ensures that court conflict should it ever happen, will be strictly confined to issues that are in no way related to the real circumstances surrounding the death of Madeleine McCann. Bennett's campaign to expose these real issues was neutered from the very beginning and was therefore a pointless venture from the moment he gave his word to the McCanns.

Bennett, I propose, along with Carter Ruck, play a game, but it is one in which they do not yet pull all the strings. Bennett's credibility as a serious campaigner and leader has been seriously challenged during these past few weeks. It seems that Bennett is no longer considered as a serious opposition, his standing has been greatly reduced as has his perceived authority. With this in mind what easier way is there to restore Bennett's standing in the 'official' anti community than to present a threat or challenge. Carter Ruck's action is bound to create a rallying point and a hub around which antis will naturaly congregate.

In this way a challenge or a threat to Bennett is not only an obvious legal move it is also a means of exercising some form of control over the 'official' Anti McCann opposition. It is also the easiest way to ensure no one else, on the fringes as it were, steps out of line.

Whilst Bennett continues the flame of hope remains lit however for me this notification is only one disappointment following another as this letter from Carter Ruck only serves to my mind to confirm Bennett's part as a dupe for the McCanns' foil and nothing other.

TTW4 and 'Himself' are one and the same.

Do you not recognise the style?

And 'Good Quality Wristbands' as well.

He has just done an article and photo-montage as a 'present' to Joana Morais, unfortunately full of swear words as is common with much of his material.

I dont know who TTW4 or Himself is but I know that Buildafiredontget is a good poster and I sometimes get them mixed up with TTW4.
