MI5 involved in cover up with the Krays

Post by willowthewisp on 23.10.15 12:02

Well, well. it finally emerges that Lord Boothby had a close relationship with the Kray family and the Daily Mirror libelled the MP Boothby who won £40,000 in damages,MI5 covered it up as it would make the "Profumo Scandal" look like a storm in a tea cup.
How is the Mother in Law,Lady Astor these days Dave, oh forgot you put another Thirty year ruling on the Official papers being released to the public on the "Profumo Affair"?
I wonder if Sir Cliff is going to deny knowing his Lordship and the "Disappearance of a Twelve year old" you introduced to the above mentioned clientele?

It is the nature of the elite to close ranks and cover-up rather than let the plebs know.

I want to know how much Prince Philip was involved in Profumo.

MI5 involved in cover up with the Krays

Post by willowthewisp on 23.10.15 12:26

Hi Bluebag,
Prince Philip bought all the paintings that Mr Ward had painted of well known dignitaries who may have joined in at Lord and Lady Astors Adult themed parties?
Mr Ward was made the "Official Patsy" for the conclusion of the Profumo Scandal and no one has seen the declassified papers, nor are you likely for another Thirty Years thanks to dodgy Dave's finger prints on the files, for his Mother in Law's family name?

Q: How many 'elite/solely dedicated' MPS 'specialist', erm, full time, police 'investigators' does it take, to 'solve' an eight and a half years, old, SINGLE child 'abduction' case?

A: 38!

1 to 'solve' it and...................37,... to 'cover it up'!

If TM/DC/BHH 'know' what 'happened' to MBM, they are, imo, 'complicit' (in a 'cover up')

If TM/DC/BHH 'don't know' what 'happened' to MBM, they are, again, imo, 'incompetent'.

MI5 involved in cover up with the Krays

Post by willowthewisp on 23.10.15 12:50

Hi Jeanmonroe,
Sir Bernard Hogan Howe has not been present this week in the UK, to appear before the select Committee on child abuse allegations, thought to have involved the former Conservative Home Secretary(LB) who we know placed the Dicken's dossier in a very safe place of security in the Houses of Parliament?
It is thought that the UK Government has decided to purchase a vast amount of Teflon for some unknown reason for the preceding future personal involved in the CSA Inquiry?

'It is thought that the UK Government has decided to purchase a vast amount of Teflon for some unknown reason...'

Chinese 'made' Teflon, i 'presume'!

UK political establishment 'Teflon' is just not 'slippery' enough, these 'days'!

'The LAST UK Teflon 'factory' will, sadly, be closing, due to the vast amount of Chinese global Teflon 'dumping', announced UK Chancellor Gideon Osborne. 'We will re-train all redundant staff as trainee bank managers'

or, OR,

'recruit the redundant 'staff' to work @ OG, for the next 5 YEARS'

The UK's 'new' INDUSTRY.

That would mean they would be over qualified and not receive annual Bonus, unless you count trips to Portugal for some cheap fags and booze on the return trip?

In view of The Mail’s ‘pro-establishment’ campaign against Watson, I’m surprised the Mail have gone with this one:

Tory panic over 'kinky' peer and Ronnie Kray: Files reveal fears that exposé revealing pair 'hunted' for men in the East End could bring down the Government

•   Ministers feared exposé about Boothby would 'rival the Profumo affair'
•   Home secretary was so fearful of fallout that he summoned head of MI5
•   Peer and Kray were 'hunters' of young gay men known as 'chickens'
•   National Archives files show duo went to 'homosexual parties' together
•
By CLAIRE ELLICOTT FOR THE DAILY MAIL

PUBLISHED: 00:39, 23 October 2015 | UPDATED: 01:55, 23 October 2015

Official panic that a scandal of a ‘kinky’ Tory peer who ‘hunted’ for young men with East End gangster Ronnie Kray could bring down the Government has been revealed in official files.

Ministers feared that an exposé about Lord Boothby, a former MP, and the Kray brother would ‘rival the Profumo affair’ which led to Harold Macmillan’s resignation as prime minister.

The home secretary Henry Brooke was so worried about the fallout that he summoned the head of MI5, official files released by the National Archives in Kew show.

Sources revealed that both the peer and the gangster were ‘hunters’ of young gay men who were referred to as ‘chickens’ and went to ‘homosexual parties’ together, according to the files.

In 1964 it was also suggested that Robert Boothby, a television presenter and the former MP for East Aberdeenshire, was having an affair with Kray, one of London’s most notorious criminals.

The story was broken by the Sunday Mirror, which did not name the pair but claimed to have a photo of them together and they were later identified in a German magazine.

Lord Boothby later wrote a letter to the Times denying that he was homosexual and claiming that he had merely been discussing ‘business matters’ with the gangster.

He later sued the Sunday Mirror, winning a £40,000 libel payout.

But newly declassified files reveal his relationship with the Kray brother was well-known in official circles - as was his preference for young men.

The information was shared with Scotland Yard, and a note by Roger Hollis, the director general of MI5, revealed the concerns the possibility of a scandal caused Whitehall.

He wrote: ‘The Home Secretary and some of his colleagues felt that this might develop along the lines of the Profumo affair.’

In 1963, the establishment was rocked by an affair between John Profumo, the Secretary of State for War, and Christine Keeler, a 19-year-old dancer who was also involved with a Russian naval attache.

Profumo denied the affair in Parliament but later admitted the truth and resigned. The fallout led to Macmillan’s resignation as prime minister.

But Mr Hollis said in the Boothby case, he felt ‘no security issue was involved’ as he had no official position that could allow him to compromise government secrets.

According to an MI5 inside ‘source’, who was described as a ‘self-confessed homosexual’, Lord Boothby was in a relationship with his young chauffeur Leslie Holt.

Although homosexuality was illegal then, the source suggested the relationship was serious, saying: ‘They are genuinely attached; this is no fly-by-night-affair.’

The MI5 report revealed Holt told the source he had introduced Lord Boothby to Ronnie Kray - both widely known to be gay or bisexual - and ‘they’d been to a couple of (homosexual) parties together’.

The source added: ‘Boothby is a kinky fellow and likes to meet odd people, and Ronnie obviously wants to meet people of good social standing, he having the odd background he’s got; and, of course, both are queers.

‘Leslie never suggested that there was any villainous association between the two and they are not likely to be linked by a queer attraction for each other: both are hunters (of young men).’

The report also suggested that the Sunday Mirror was tipped off about the ‘affair’ between Lord Boothby and Ronnie by rivals of the Krays, but they had got the details wrong.

The MI5 report said: ‘Certainly the suggestion that Boothby has been having an affair with the gangster Kray is hardly true.

‘Ronnie, 34 and ugly, he (the source) repeats, is a hunter. Nash or whoever told the story to the ‘Mirror’ seemed to have got the two people with a record mixed up, Leslie and Ronnie.’

Professor Christopher Andrew, the former official historian of MI5, suggested Lord Boothby - who was also a long-term lover of former prime minister Harold Macmillan’s wife - walked a political tightrope with his relationships.

He said: ‘As Boothby’s MI5 file shows, his relations with the Krays, who were later sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, were much closer than he admitted.

‘Had those relations been made public at the time, the resulting scandal would have been even more deeply embarrassing than the Profumo affair for the former prime minister, Harold Macmillan.’

Profumo and still living Royalty.

That's why we can't see the files.

And they say the Royal family has no power.
