Kare & Gerry McCann remain reassured [by the announcement] - according to Lord Pilkington. Reassured that the search for their daughter/the child has been scaled down from 39 to 4 investigators. Well dodgy Dave is proved correct with his cuts, Drs are very easily reassured big grin

@HelenMeg

'DCI Wall still in charge.'
------------------------------

'Newsflash'

DCI 'I nick 'em even before they know they are nicked' Nicola Wall was NEVER, EVER, 'in charge' (of Operation Strange)

BHH, DCI Wall's 'big boss', and the McCann's 'Madeleine's Fund, LNSU' 'fundraiser-in-chief'........WAS, IS, and always HAS BEEN 'in charge' of Operation Strange!

IMO 'obviously'

Official Find Madeleine Campaign
1 hr ·
We would like to thank all the staff from Operation Grange for the meticulous and painstaking work that they have carried out over the last four and a half years. The scale and difficulty of their task has never been in doubt. We are reassured that the investigation to find Madeleine has been significantly progressed and the MPS has a much clearer picture of the events in PDL leading up to Madeleine’s abduction in 2007.
Given that the review phase of the investigation is essentially completed, we fully understand the reasons why the team is being reduced. We would also like to thank the Home Office for continuing to support the investigation.
Whilst we do not know what happened to Madeleine, we remain hopeful that she may still be found given the ongoing lines of enquiry.
~Gerry and Kate McCann

Review phase? what review phase takes a helicopter, a team of UK police officers, GPR equipment, EVRD dogs, puts out a Crimewatch extravaganza (two versions)? What review phase suddenly finds Tannerman to be a tourist who by a stroke of luck has managed to keep his daughter's pyjamas for years?

All rhetorical of course.

Well. that's 'odd'

All the 'papers and media' are 'saying' the MPS 'have achieved nothnig' and have not got 'a clue' about what 'happened' to Madeleine, after a 4 1/2 YEARS FULL TIME 'investigation'!

jta: The PJ 'had' the 'CLEAR' picture of the 'event' in PDL ,on 4th May 2007! (before 'interference' from the 'superior' UK)
